I love your decorations! I would love to take it down December 26 but my husband likes it up until right after the New Year! I’m anxious to clean and organize! Our Christmas was wonderful! We had minimal decorations this year because I’m having back issues. But it was beautiful! Our tree turned into a tribute tree. I have ornaments for all the pets we’ve lost and for my parents who have passed away. I liked it being so minimal for a change! Your kids are getting so big! I wish I had a storage closet like yours to put my Christmas decor! We have to store ours in the rafters in the garage! BTW, I live in the other Idaho (north Idaho)!
Totally off topic but I must say your landlords are so lucky in the care you take to keep up the care on the house. I would’ve loved to have renters like you!!

Some years I take it down the day after Christmas and other times it will be the weekend after Christmas. I guess it kind of depends what day of the week it falls on and how much we have going on. I am like you and ready to get the house back to normal and less clutter in the house once Christmas is over. Love the wallpaper wall. It looks great! Have a wonderful week!

I decorated the first week of November so I was very excited to take all my Christmas decor and tree down Dec 26, Starting 2024 with a clean home🎉
I do it the day after Christmas, too. That way I have a week to get things cleaned up and refreshed for the new year. Yours are really the only holiday videos I watch just for that reason. And I enjoy yours because you do it in a homey way and not all new every year. You have traditions.

I leave all my decor out until the epiphany (January 6) and then I leave just my nativity out until candlemas (February 2) traditionally Christmas starts Christmas Day and lasts 40 days
I always keep my decorations up until old Christmas Day which is January 6th. I do something special with the kids and give them a couple surprise gifts. Along with family day and making more memories.
I always put my tree up the day after thanksgiving and take it down the day after Christmas that’s how I like it have always done that
On the 23rd, we spent Christmas with my family since they were going out of town to visit my brother, his wife, and their son. On Christmas Eve, we went over to my husband's grandma's house. On Christmas day, we went over to my in-laws' house and spent Christmas with them. When my husband and I went to his grandma's house for Christmas Eve, his uncle was there, but he was sick. He told all of us that he was getting over a head cold, but he was coughing, blowing his nose, and hardly eating. The day after Christmas, my husband started feeling crappy. Then I woke up on the 30th, and I was so stuffed up, and my body hurt. We both ended up taking a covid test and tested positive. We finally tested negative on the 3rd of January. I normally don't put my Christmas decorations down until after the New Year.
Growing up my mom always took down decorations the day after Christmas. As an adult I like doing the same thing. This year I was really itching to put it away so did it Christmas night. I usually decorate the week before thanksgiving.
Hefty Vacuum Seal Bags were a game changer for me this year! Used the XL size and was able to shrink down tons of pillows and throws.
Brayden is starting to look like a young man...makes me feel old! He did an amazing job on the lego set👏Wished I had his Patience...lol.
We hosted Xmas at out house & had family from out of state staying the whole week, leaving tomorrow so I've had to leave mine up but will be taking it down Jan 2. Dreading it bc I have to do the same as you....pull everything out of closet, rearrange & organize totes so its gonna be several hours but it will be rewarding to have everything look clean & spacious again, so thanks for the motivation👍
We had sick kiddos so we stayed home for Christmas and I actually enjoyed it lol. I love the wallpaper in the kitchen!
I have decorated on Nov 1 for the last about 10-11 years bc my kids are only little once and I’ve always loved the magic of the holidays (and if Disney can go from Halloween to Christmas overnight so can I lol) now that my kids are 15 and 20 they love that I still do it. It’s a tradition now. BUT since I decorate early I’m so ready dec 26th to take everything down. I’ve always loved the week between Christmas and new years to fully just get my ish together. Declutter, deep clean, new year new me type thing.

I always love to put up our decorations right before thanksgiving because it is just so festive and I get a full month to enjoy my Christmas tree because it’s my favorite thing and then I take it down after the new year as like a ringing in the new year with a satisfying refresh in the new year taking everything down and declutter to start the new year on a productive note ❤ here’s to 2024 🎉
I just took everything down today. Vacuum mop,dust, laundry. Clean is just a great feeling. 😊

We take Christmas down the day after. Once Christmas is done, it’s done.
I typically put Christmas decorations up the day after Thanksgiving and then leave it up until New Years Eve. It really just depends on my mood each year. It's not set it stone. There have been times where I've taken Christmas down the very next day and then others it's been up until New years. Really just depends on my mood like I've said lol. We had Christmas Eve with the family this year at out house and then Christmas day was just our own little family having a leisurely relaxing Christmas 😊 Happy New Year to you and yours! 🎉

We celebrated here, went to my brother's, then went to spend time with father in law. Mother in law was in the hospital for Christmas. She's home now.
We decorated the first weekend in December; had my husband’s older daughter and her husband and two kids come visit us on Friday the 22 and they left the 27. Haven’t seen them for Christmas since 2014 when we moved away. It was a great visit. We got to meet her 4 month old baby - our 6th grandchild. Still have Christmas up. Can’t wait to take it down but it will probably be next week before I get to it. Love seeing you take all yours down. Definitely helps me want to do all mine. 😊
My daughter bought the Taylor Swift movie for me for Christmas, on Amazon Prime and we watched it tonight, thought it was really good. We went to my parents home for Christmas.
We get our Live tree a few weeks before Christmas and take it down after the new year. It also depends how the tree is holding up. I've never had a plastic tree. Thank you for sharing with us. Happy New Year ❤
Since my son was born our decorations go up on the 1st December and come down anywhere from the 27th-30th December. Mine came down yesterday 30th, so now today I can clean. I took it all down yesterday!! I have a million keepsakes that are packed individually and some that I use with towels etc. Thank goodness it's all put away!! I do put up some winter decor not like Christmas though!

I’m a decorate fall/Thanksgiving, day after Thanksgiving, Christmas goes up. Day after Christmas, Christmas comes down! You are so relatable is why I love every utube you put out! 👍❤️👍
My goal with Christmas decor is to have it settled and how I like it by December 1st, the official start of Christmas for me. I leave it up for New Year's, and it can come down anytime after January 2nd. I don't do traditional Christmas, though. I do more natural/wintery decor that integrates well into my usual decor.

I take Christmas down the day after Christmas too! But I put it up early (either the 1st or 2nd week of November) so I’m over it by Christmas and want my house clean and back to normal
Hi Kristen!! I enjoyed this video so much! So nice you got to have a relaxing Christmas with just your own little family. On Christmas Eve we have Christmas with my brother and his family and then on Christmas Day I usually make a breakfast casserole for breakfast and then we go to my husbands parents house and have Christmas with them and all of his family around lunch time. Then Christmas Day in the afternoon my husband and I have our Christmas at home with our 2 daughters. Hope you and your family have a very happy and healthy 2024! 🎉

Hey Kristen, Happy Saturday. For Christmas me and my parents went to South Carolina to have breakfast with my sister, brothers in law, my brother, and nephew. Then we had dinner together in North Carolina where we live. I love all of your Christmas decorations and how you pack them away so nicely and where it won’t break. ❤ I think posting Christmas decorating videos the day after thanksgiving is the perfect time to start uploading because I like to enjoy Halloween and Thanksgiving before seeing Christmas decorating. Shark is such a great brand! I've had my corded Shark Navigator Liftaway Plus for almost 10 years and it's still going strong. I also have a Shark steam mop and the robot vacuum. All great products.

We decorate in the first week or 2 of December, then take down in the first week of January. We have several Christmas days in the week between Christmas Day and NYD with different parts of the family. I love your traditional and sentimental decorations x

I usually take down my Christmas decor by now, but I can't bring myself to do it yet. It has been up since the beginning of November because I worked with King of Christmas this year, but usually, it goes up mid November. It's crazy to me how Valentines stuff was already making its way into stores before Christmas. I miss the days of celebrating holidays as they come not months ahead.
I tested positive for RSV, Tuesday 26th. So definitely sick on Christmas. My teenage boys definitely still had an amazing Christmas! I'm just super happy you had a nice relaxing holiday ❤

That is a good storage spot. East coast houses don't normally have that access to crawl space. But most east coast homes have full basement of usable space
I took all my decor and stuff down the night of December 25th, I was so over having a tree up with two cats and a puppy lol

This Christmas was definitely different for us but we always decorate for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving this year for Christmas Eve. We did a dinner and gift exchange. Also a hot cocoa bomb with a Christmas movie with my sister and her kids and husband and then Christmas day we went to my wife’s parents house for dinner and then the day after Christmas we went to my wife’s brothers house for a Christmas dinnerand I already took down all of my Christmas decorations because I absolutely hate winter. I am a summer girl lol also I can’t wait to see how the wallpaper comes out. Your house is looking beautiful.❤
I put up Christmas decorations week after Thanksgiving and take it down the day after Christmas.
On October 1st I will decorate for fall/Halloween, on November 1st I change to Fall/Thanksgiving and on December 1st I decorate for Christmas. I will take my Christmas decorations down the weekend after and then keep winter decorations out until the spring. I also do the same with my cubicle at work. We didn't put up a Christmas tree this year because I have a cat that I believe would tear it up. Jasper seems really well behaved. Does he bother the tree? Your tree is so pretty!

I'm such a grinch after Christmas day that my decorations are minimal and all down including the tree by the end of Christmas day (this year it was like 7pm and it was all down). But I do put them up just before the 1st of December to get me into the Christmas month spirit 😅
Also I have a Shark cordless vacuum too but mines an older model. Does the same sort of stuff but I've had mine for over 5 years now and I still love it. Doesn't suck as good as it once did but it's probably due for another clean lol
Watching your son build lego sets reminds me of one of my sons doing the same at that age. He attended trade school and works in a machine shop "tinkering" for a living. Possibly a future engineer.

We also take down the Christmas decorations the evening of Christmas. My husband’s birthday is the 26th so he always likes a clean house for his birthday.
I had tons of pillows withy new couch so I got a bunch of different pillows covers from Amazon or Temu and that way can put them all over house or porch for holidays and seasons
Hubby and I chilled at home for Christmas. It was so nice…..we grilled burgers and made home fries.
Decor came down the day after.

We hosted Christmas for the first time in a while. It was a bit overwhelming lol. But usually it is just us and we see family either Christmas Eve or the 26th. I set up for Christmas usually around the week of thanksgiving or the day after thanksgiving. Every year changes. I take ours down the week after Christmas. I don’t have an exact date just whenever I’m feeling up to it haha. 😂
I always put my decorations down within 2-3 days of the end of Christmas, time to move on from Christmas and start the new year.As for others they should mind their own business.

Christmas comes out November 1st. But we LOVE the lights and colors of Christmas. I use all vintage decor and I always get sad when I put it up. I swear I could have it up year round.

Growing up, we had christmas decor up until Jan 7th (after 3 Kings Day), however, last year I took them down 12/26 and it felt so good to get that done before the new year. This year i'll do it on the 2nd. Lol i guess i dont have a norm yet
