I get frustrated when Opie is discussed immediately in the comments, whether present or not, and it’s the same criticism. I do give him a lot of credit but unfortunately it’s not out of respect. He just knows he’s not as funny and shuts down. He’s fuming during these convos, unlike Ant who welcomes them. Idk where I’m going with that but I agree he deserves a bit more credit (or maybe a little less hatred?) but when he’s quiet, it’s usually that he’s uncomfortable
@@Imnottapinata I couldn’t agree more. The hating Opie train is louder than any love for …… I know Patrice but still. Get over it guys- it’s the O from O&A and it’s not going away haha
@@Imnottapinata It's just venting frustration. Especially here. The O&A show shit on people more than anyone. Especially now that they all suck, it's fun to shit on them. Almost like karma.
Really happy that shows like this can properly eulogize a dear friend with an entire show of complete unfiltered language... both this and the Fez Whatley show produced genuine moments of hilarity and sadness.
Listen to Parice almost daily all these years later. Brilliant. All the clichés you hear about others... Patrice was better than all of em. ITS RAINING STUFF!! HALLEULEAH! ITS RAINING THINGS!!
This breaks my heart. I wasn’t the biggest Patrice fan but hearing jim speak about Patrice is sad. That rest stop Christmas tree story it’s cold out here story is killer... 😂 and Dave atell killed with his intro lol
I can never get through this episode Patrice wasn’t like a lot of the other famous people that I saw like I just really enjoyed hearing his perspective on things and the way he thought it was just great. This is the one celebrity death so far that I’ve actually cried over the man was just so special and shouldn’t have been taken from us so soon.
Tony dude never stopped being real always said what he thought no matter how much it might have hindered him idc he wasn’t the most successful but he was one of the funniest and stayed true to himself no matter what
I'm not above cursing a lot, I don't really view any words as dirty, but, Louis calling out Bobby was so perfect. Might be the mosts fucks I've heard per 100 words ever lol
Lol feel the exact same way. Every 3-4 years I go through the old Patrice tapes as we all do. Definitely hurts as 2012 is approaching and you're thinking there is only so many appearances left. What an absolute legend he was / is. A truly genuine figure is rare.
This was way back when Derosa actually thought he was a COMIC, fast forward to now he's making sandwiches LMAO. I think nobody in the crew told him he wasn't funny because they loved trashing him every chance they got.
Lol in the words of Patrice, Anthony's " a dirty racist" but I think he's actually punchy here, the way you get when you haven't slept in a while. Anthony talked the same laughing way about his dad and bad childhood memories until one day he started crying. Even at his funeral, the way it's told, is as if its a party and everyone was laughing and ripping each other. I'm sure they mourn alone but, It's just a different world.
@@AdamThoba2 I always have to hear the other guy again, so I can compare and decide who's who. Goddamit, how many times has it been where I mixed them up, because they sound so alike.
Attell should be considered one of the absolute greateat of all time, but for some reason he's just not as well known as he should be. Enters the room and drops the line of the day instantly.
Really says a lot that Amy left right after Louis CK entered the room. I think there was a lot of animosity and resentment towards Louis CK from female comics, centered around jealousy of his success and probably the accusations as well. Another thing that I noticed about Louis CK, he absolutely called it about Ralphie May. Ralphie ended up dying young too because of his morbid obesity and horrible health habits. Louis really is a highly intelligent person in general as well as being disgustingly funny, he is an amazing role-model for comedians and people should really take his advice. I feel bad that he went through the trouble with the accusations, I think it comes with the territory of being great though.
God damn this world needs Patrice more than ever
does it
Dave Attell starts killing the SECOND he steps in the studio.
Has to be the most underapprecited comic alive
Lets give Dopie some credit here too, he sat back after the the initial intro when the gang showed up and let them have the show

All you guys do is complain about Opie. It's like going to a stand up show and your only takeaway is to complain about the curtains on the stage.
Rest In Peace king. Your legend lives on in perpetuity through the wisdom you provided
Yuck. He was just a fat funny guy. This shit makes me nauseous.
True, I'm a student of Patrice

Why the fuck does Bobby Kelly have to sound so similar to Jimmy

Pat Fry you right

I love that fox clip where Patrice schooled that outraged woman over a JOKE about another woman.

Purple suit and a gigantic coffin.....holy shit! Attell.😅
This was hoge loss. Obviously guys are griefing but they managed to do the show remembering the good times and playing Patrice's classic bits.

Helluva thing to do. Tell someone that they're bad at their career and they should quit. Have you done that...?
Derosa was great on the show, earned his place at the table like the rest of em
Anthony has no feelings whatsoever 😆

Bobby Kelly- “I gotta go”

@UCOufZikWhY1B0_ZtiAsrMJQ they made comments how Amy left without saying goodbye. So yeah... she did “mate”........
It’s funny, Louis is talking and I hear Amy laughing constantly. Just because she didn’t talk doesn’t mean she left.
