    Great cleaning process. Pretty much identical to how I clean my Graco 395, except you're a bit more thorough with the wd40. Cleaning an airless can be very quick and easy once you have a little routine going. 👍

    Long time no see Colin
    I hope you still use your t5 and let me briefly mention how I clean mine.
    I just prime the pump with water and run it through the hose then turn back to prime mode and take both manifold and gun filters out and rinse put them back in and believe it or not it takes about two gallons of water to clean the machine. Btw when I need a second pump I’ll probably buy a diaphragm one. Hope you enjoy using yours.

      Hello Gill yeah I thought it was about time I stopped slacking and make a video. I do use the the t5 from time to time but I do love the diaphragm pump it's do easy to set and clean down , changing from one colour to the next . The speed of how quick to empty the hose of paint is unreal. Definitely get one when you get the chance 👍

    Off topic question, do you finish the walls or the woodwork first? - assuming all is undercoated and ready for final coat - what do you hit last?

    Do you still spray using the same pressures as the piston pumps or lower? What pressures are you spraying Molly and acrylics?

    • @camdecorations9779
      @camdecorations9779  2 роки тому

      OK so for emulsion is spray at 2300 psi with graco ltx tip and acrylic I spray at 1600 psi , these are on site .

      @@camdecorations9779 so you still use the Graco tips with the Wagner? I'm the same spraying on site with a Graco 495. But been looking into the Wagner machine. Have you had any problems with it? You not made any new videos for ages what's going on mate?

    Does the pump constantly run when spraying or stop and start like airlessco or graco

    • @camdecorations9779
      @camdecorations9779  2 роки тому +1

      Constantly runs , it has in it hydraulic fluid instead of using tsl fluid. So once a year you replace the fluid and your good to go

    Never used a diaphragm pump and was wondering how they compare to the standard pumps
    Do they last longer?
    Any good for everyday use?
    How easy to maintain ie filters pump armour?
    Whats is this particular wagner machine equivalent to 395 /495?
    Also nice to see your videos again

      He'll Gus OK so I'm not to sure how long it will last compared to a piston pump but everything on there apart from the diaphragm plate you can service yourself. Every year your suppose to change the hydraulic fluid . I've got to admit I haven't got round to doing it. Absolutely no problem running it everyday really quick and easy to clean out , quicker than a 390 or any tritech.
      I brought a manifold filter with mine because it does not come with one but it's never dirty so I don't know if it's even worth buying one. I 16 months it's only been blocked once with a bit of dried paint or grit. You press a button on the sprayer it opens a valve any debris is released instantly. Power it's the equivalent to a 395 takes upto 23 thous tips put it this way you wouldn't spend all that money then do mistcoating day in day out with it. Its the best machine I've had Absolutely love it , I use this all the time I rarely use the tritech

    Great video colin good to see its getting some use, what was it you sprayed on the manifold filter at the end? Wd40 maybe

      Yes it was mate wd40 silicon, it helps to stop the manifold filter sticking to the hiusin

    Cracking video of that clean down mate👌🏻 definitely food for though as they say.. have you seen the Wagner sf 23 CR that Colin bidwell has got through paintshack? I have a tritech T9 And a graco pro 9.5 hvlp but I like the look of these sf23 Range of models. Would you say you were converted to Wagner or still using the best of both?

    • @camdecorations9779
      @camdecorations9779  3 роки тому

      I have to say I'm converted to the wagner and I love the tritech but the wagner is a better machine . I do still use my tritech but not that much only mistcoating or if I'm working in a block of flats

    Hi, would you say this Wagner is better than the T5?

    • @camdecorations9779
      @camdecorations9779  3 роки тому +1

      Yes it is don't get wrong the t5 is great but the wagner is so much easier to use and I swear I'm using less paint which they say the diaphragm pumps do

    It takes 5 mins to clean a machine... swap paint for water take tip out spray paint back into paint bucket till you see water then spray the water back into the water bucket and thats it... your done..
