Lab produced diamond will eventually destroy the diamond market,; unless ironically a monopoly of sorts is permitted which will over charge for the product - and then your back to an ethical problem.

they were asked what the difference is between lab diamonds and mined and they amswered they are identical......no difference. Lab diamonds are just cheaper. So how is anyone supposed to know if they're being pitched lab diamonds at Mined diamond price?
The difference is that natural diamonds have imperfections. A trained gemologist can spot this perfection in a lab diamond and know it is synthetic. So far as I'm aware, they have not come up with a way to create convincing synthetic imperfections.
On average, producing one polished carat of lab-grown diamond releases 511 kg of greenhouse gases, more than three times that of one polished carat of mined diamond.
There are enough natural diamonds in Africas diamond mines for every US citizen to have a cup full each. Diamonds are naturally almost worthless. But the mines and supply are controlled by DeBeers, which is under international sanction for being a completely unethical entity.

Are they actually real diamonds? I thought diamonds are made at super high pressures and heat over millions of years. How can you crate that in a lab. I have seen videos of people compressing carbon like coal and it looks like a diamond but they said it wasn't. Correct me if I'm wrong
They are identical, real, and are indistinguishable from the natural diamond to the naked eye. However there are some differences, like the natural diamond has tiny amounts of nitrogen, and tiny particulates that found their way into the diamond. These are the main ways a gemologist can tell a natural diamond from a lab grown, among others. The lab grown is perfect in other words where the natural diamond is not! I'm no expert, just curious, did a little research, and I'm certain there may be other differences, but the lab grown diamond is every bit a real diamond, it just didn't take millions of years to develop.
man I really dont like the way they film these new episodes. I dont like the new over saturated color scheme and I dont like that they only use camera angles from the front. It feels more generic now....

If they are real diamonds, why they are 50% cheaper than REAL diamonds?!
I’m from Antwerp 😃 never know of them
Unless they're offering him protection, this deal will probably not happen if he's buying in at 250k for 3% the next round of funding will dilute him down to nothing.
Maybe Steven did the canny thing, but I can't help thinking he will regret investing in such incredibly greedy women. They rejected Sara's offer, which was exactly what they came in asking for. I hope that their greed will come back to bite them.
If Meghan Markle wears it, unfortunately I won't
Wow!
Meagan Markle---for once, Jenny would have a good reason to be Out.
Truly the worst edited dragons den clip so far.
Lab diamond has zero resale value as tech improvements happen prices drop in lab diamond so resale is zero
Help me understand ... is this just the way business works, or did they actually behave badly?
That a what I was thinking. They really screwed poor Sara
Left me with a sour taste in my mouth .
I feel bad for Sara 😢
Great news on Peter
Not understanding
But the woman new
He like a child not understanding.
Well 1st time he understands
How cats are put among the pigeons.
Great the way the woman
Has to educate him for free
Lucky him
After all he charged everyone
Through out his life 😅
Huge props to them
They are not from Antwerp!
They talk French so thats not possible!
Buying a fake diamond feels the same as buying a good replica rolex 😂
cubic zirconia
Branding fake diamonds, not a bad idea. Take something that is mundane and common, amplify the quality a notch and brand it. Lemons and lemonaid.
what was the point🤔 they got offers from people who actually believe in their business the two women and want to give them ALL that they want😑to turn it down🙄
exactly why you should stop buying diamonds...
Rejected the offer they came in for, it's clear they only came for the exposure. I hope they fail.
So they want to make lab grown non-authentic diamonds but makes sense tho they got a D List celeb and wanna be princess perfect match
💀 How she a wannabe if she married the prince???
That's such a joke over 2% they never wanted the investment
It’s was very weird…
The weed is trippin me out this a.m. 😮🎉
Are they actually real diamonds? I thought diamonds are made at super high pressures and heat over millions of years. How can you crate that in a lab. I have seen videos of people compressing carbon like coal and it looks like a diamond but they said it wasn't. Correct me if I'm wrong
You're wrong... try wikipedia...
Which makes diamonds the greatest scam ever invented. Worse than bit coin.
Guyz! Does Sara deserve this? What the hell are you doing...
man I really dont like the way they film these new episodes. I dont like the new over saturated color scheme and I dont like that they only use camera angles from the front. It feels more generic now....
Is the issue that, just like with currency compared to cryptocurrency, if toubcan juat keep making pretend diamonds, their value decreases?
I just don't trust this show anymore after the MS "cure" was featured
The Meghan Markle effect, well done ladies and Steven
This is copy of 💎 so this is very difficult to say that this is working on future 😢😅
Good for them great idea, but its still very expensive costume jewellry at the end of the day. Dont think it will really catch on if someone wants to spend that amount of money its an investment. I wonder what the resale value of these diamonds would be😢
It's not 3% vs 5% (or the valuation) that's the problem. It's Meghan Markle. That would have been me out right there. 🤮
Why the music. Annoying.
They continue to make huge loses. I think they will bankrupt soon. The cut is also terrible. You should only buy a diamond with Excellent or Ideal cut, These lab grown start from Very Good. Very Good is pretty bad in the lab grown diamond industry. Their diamonds are also double the price vs some competitors that have a better cut, with same colour VS+
