This is my first time I’ve watched NASCAR Full Race Replays! From Dale Earnhardt in 1999 to some other random Drivers from the Rookies and the Hall of Famers!
The stupid part about the caution win is the viewers don't have a clue who gets the win, and they're standing there watching. It's a behind the curtain decision.
No the stupid part is NASCAR decides the victor. If they’re half a second quicker on hitting that button, Logano wins. Not that I’d want him to win, but look at when the first car is sideways and/or into the wall. Logano leads. NASCAR knew a caution was coming. That buttone should’ve been pressed immediately.
I believe this new generation of car they got for this season was supposed to help with that. I can see some of it doing the opposite but maybe as the drivers gain experience in these cars they will get more bold
A lot of it is about the rule changes at the beginning of each season to make it as safe as possible for the driver's, so they put an end to things like big packs of cars doing three wide racing!
Team Hendrick really knows how to screw up the ending of these plate races. Bowman gets a run outside and pushes Stenhouse's lane and not Larson's. Unreal.
The new age energy is back in new generation race cars in 2023 it is a more open platform to see new race teams perform at a new level and win big.Great work in2023.
Thank you Nascar for no Jessie "I can't get my info right" Punch ... so far. Nice and quiet watching the Cup cars race instead during commercial breaks
I was so glad to see Jimmie J back on the track like the glory days and being in the top ten at the end of stage one and being able to cheer Jimmie on again was amazing to watch. Also to be honest to root for both Jimmie and Kyle (5) at the same point of the race was very cool. The disappointing results were not expected to be where they were at the finish but I can’t wait to see how the rest of the 75th anniversary season goes and where Jimmie will race next in The Next Gen machine alongside Kyle to be as successful as his 2021 championship campaign was two years ago and improve from the mistakes he made last year going ahead.
Nascar needs to start the 500 no later than 130 pm Eastern time, watching the race end at night is not good for the sport. Great race though!! Congrats 47
You watch this race…then go search for a Daytona 500 from the 2000’s era and it’s soooo different! There’s something missing from nascar at the moment. I love nascar but this was boring.
My question is what is missing? We had some of the most lead changes in years, lots of side by side racing and different strategies. The presentation by Fox just isn’t as good as it was in the 2000’s era but the racing felt closer to actual racing that the crapshoot the past years have been. It only became a wreckfest after Suarez spun. I feel like we could bring back the mid 2000’s racing and people would call THAT boring now too.
The best thing about the race was thinking about Tony in the booth getting cut off every time he talked. I could picture him clinching his fist!!!!! Tony got screwed over by the team.

I have a bold idea: Take the cars from each nascar series and have them race together on the same track! That'll make things interesting. (Kinda like multi class racing you see in endurance racing, but with Nascar)
