Seba was actually pretty difficult to get ahold of throughout his career. He was very introverted and wanted to detach his image from his music. I can understand that to an extent as honestly without really knowing much about him his music almost feels like a replacement of what he wanted to share with the world, without having to say a word. While I wish I knew more of him, I respect him for wanting to stay silent and just DO what he did best.

He explains his first and only travel to Korea - aside from this second visit that you are watching right now - and how his band was only a small group of people at that time. They were just tourists on a mission to sightsee the world and play music for anyone that would watch. He finally concludes that he was, and always will be just an ordinary guy. He is very humble and quite shy and reclusive. RIP Nujabes Seba Jun.

Your quote is a bit off.. he ACTUALLY says "my first only one-two-three 12-inch released like six years old or something", meaning six years prior (2008 -> 2002 or 2001ish when he probably went) he only had a couple 12-inch records out so people probably didn't know about him that much.

This whole video was a goose bump roller coaster.. Jun was my helper during my aggressive disorder due to my depression, His music calmed me while the song lasted. It's 3 years later i'm now 18 and i'm into chill hop i am super peaceful and this guy introduced me to chill hop.. he changed my life.. I love you nujabes.. so much

Nujabes saved a lot of us. It’s unfortunate that someone with this type of talent was taken way too early. Like I a supernova we have remnants of some powerful energy that’s in his music. I still feel the same way as I did when I heard his music for the first time back in 2012 when I was suffering from a depressive state. The only word I can describe it as is simply,
free.

wow finally. this guy nujabes is well known for his music but there doesn't seem to be whole lot of videos of his concert or at all. I'm glad that atleast one video made it out so now we can all see how nujabes actually played his music. even though the video isn't really recorded properly.
Different times. You have to realise cell phones with good pixel quality, not resolution didn't hit main stream phones. High resolution phone cameras came to phones till around 2009 with the iphone 3gs
I think the awkward phone recording has its charm as well.
I know, I wish the guy that was filming it had better control but I don't really care about that because if it won't for him.. we all wouldn't be witnessing Nujabes' rare and amazing performance!
