To tell you the truth, I did this video to help out fellow coworkers who had questions and could not figure out how to perform a regeneration on this vehicle. I would recommend reading the owners manual how to troubleshoot any questions or problems you might have. If that does not answer your questions or concerns then take it to your local truck Service Center.
awesome video.... Got a few questions hopefully you can assist. 1st why is my truck taking multible regenerations? 2nd DEF fluid is full doesnt seem to go down but no indicators on saying any sort of issues 3rd I filled up the DEF container and then the Red EXT Exhust and the DEF low fluid indicator light is on but there is no problems.
Hey thanks I'm new to this type of trucks I just got my job a as delivery driver they gave me this dtruck didn't knew what to do untill I saw ur video but I got one final question Everything worked just as you describe but before I did this I noticed that it also has a exh.system light "red" I thought is was going to go away but is still there are any tips on this one
I would look up the light in the owner's manual. From my experience, red lights do not signify anything good. My company would perform periodical preventive checks and maintenance by taking the truck into a certified diesel engine mechanic's shop. They most definitely would be able to identify any and all problems and then be able to fix them properly.
On occasion, this truck would not regenerate with more than 3 bars on the dashboard showing. I would suggest reading the owner's manual to get the specific instructions on your truck and it's regeneration cycle.
From my experience, this truck will initiate a regeneration automatically while driving without pressing this button....however.... a stationary regeneration is needed periodically and should be performed prior to operation. Read the owner's manual for more information.
quick simple and well explained. thank you. they just put me in this truck today and it was far overdue. thanks to you, I'm a hero

It works on the truck I drive, whether it's cold or not.
