@@eugenedegeorge5084 Yes that is interesting. One of the background prisoners wears big glasses. Also there was Harold Bishop, otherwise known as the head of department. Hi Amanda, I totally agree with everything you say about PCBH. It's prue classic TV gold, I've loved it since i first saw it many years ago on ITV when i was a kid in 1987. Evidently Lexie's mother is the producer? Marie Trevor is ultimately to blame. Pepe Trevor gets a free ride from her mum. Marie Trevor is simply in love with the Nora, Auntie May and Willie trio. And her ability to tell good actors from bad ie Nikki is long gone. Anyway continuing with it till the end.

Even though these are some of the weakest episodes it is nice to see more of the other side of Lou. It makes her character more rounded. Nauseating Lexie about her numbers racket "You've got to be in it,to win it" This slogan was stolen 30 years later as the tagtime for The National Lottery.Well done,Lexie, you thought of it f1rst.
@@naparry4772 Most of the hate comes from the fact she made her daughter the centre of attention in every episode she was in and would have no time off what so ever, whenever she goes to the pound she's back in the prison within the same episode or for example when her character gets pregnant maternity of course had to come down with a disease meaning we had to watch more of Lexi, any other character would have been gone, all of this despite being a crap actress and her character having no real purpose but is constantly pushed in our faces all because she is Maries daughter. But with me I also look at how silly she made the series, the storyline where the women are scared of seeing the dentist comes to mind or the childish cock roach storyline. In my opinion she ruined the series.
@@bernadettelamb54 - can't really disagree with those points. One reason why I liked those final episodes was that Paterson had cleared off by this time. I think Marie Trevor did some things, but Lexie was probably the worst character of the show's run.
As far as i know Pixie is still in a catatonic state in a mental hospital (after the Frank incident). It was a really horrible way to write her out of the show.
Sandy she wasnt insane but in a mental hospital she would be now. i went in for depression n almost lost the plot having to b in there with some of the complete nutters
The Flynn era was never as bad as people make out. The series obviously decided to take a break from the Smith and Desmond era and shift the focus away from The Top Dog have a continuous. battle with the Freak and prison heavies. It's nice seeing the show go at a different almost lighter tempo for a few months. What's lost in action gets made up for in warmth and character in the good pits. Although it was obvious the show had become very middle aged at this point .
Another Footy reference with those two kids ridding by in Essendon and Hawthorne guernseys. during the scene about the over turned lorry. Not had a footy reference since Denis said he'd recover and play for Collingwood. The show should have had more of them considering it was filmed in Victoria. The Dees got referenced by Bea during her first escape. Then there were a lot of Collingwood references from Heather and her family. Yet they had Prisoners who were fans of British pop bands but you never saw any VFL posters in the dorms.? I wonder if Carlton ever get a reference during the series run ?

They should have made Queenie the top dog 😊
What do they plan on doing with all those carrots before they turn to slime in that plastic bag?
Nauseating Lexie about her numbers racket "You've got to be in it,to win it" This slogan was stolen 30 years later as the tagtime for The National Lottery.Well done,Lexie, you thought of it f1rst.
That prissy bald man reminds me of that actor on The Brady Bunch that was Bebe Gallini's secretary.
All the woman do is prepare vegetables in the kitchen-lol
thomas rokos
Yes but then get rice, where does the veg go?
i dont think they got enough carrots
Pippa either she's Anne or mum....make your mind up!!!!
She's "mum" when Pippa needs something. She's "Anne" when Pippa is being a snot.
Man... Joyce and Meg has seriously been taking Joan Ferguson lessons. At times, they make Joan look soft. 🤣
Marie Trevor really is the reason why prisoner was axed.
She seems to get a lot of flack, but she was responsible for some of the best episodes towards the end.
I think Marie Trevor did some things, but Lexie was probably the worst character of the show's run.
whatever happend to pixie?
As far as i know Pixie is still in a catatonic state in a mental hospital (after the Frank incident). It was a really horrible way to write her out of the show.
After Burke raped her she never recovered she ended up in a prison for the criminal insane like cass
Cass broke my heart, she was not insane
Sandy she wasnt insane but in a mental hospital she would be now. i went in for depression n almost lost the plot having to b in there with some of the complete nutters
The woman who plays the gangster looks mighty familiar , Does anyone know who she is?
She (Queenie) played the flight attendant that was with the husband of the chick that buried the baby Lynne Warner was accused of burying.
Staayyyve... thanx ... that was drivin me crazy xxx
Pippa has guts want see go ahead with fergo
The Flynn era was never as bad as people make out. The series obviously decided to take a break from the Smith and Desmond era and shift the focus away from The Top Dog have a continuous. battle with the Freak and prison heavies. It's nice seeing the show go at a different almost lighter tempo for a few months. What's lost in action gets made up for in warmth and character in the good pits. Although it was obvious the show had become very middle aged at this point .
Kirsty Child is a woeful actress. Overacting obviously her special talent.
Wish they'd shove her back in the dryer.
Ugh. So shrill.
Queeny brought comic relief to a boring era of the show a lot of folks liked Queeny Marshall.
Lexi beat nikki
Joan looked at Joyce was funny lol
I thought Pippas brother was paralysed from the neck down so how's he able to travel around Europe now?
What will you think of next, Daphne?
This queenie storyline about the best thing to happen for a while
Daphne's in love with Noel Edmonds, perhaps Mr Blobby can be best man at the wedding.
