Wow! My son and I just upgraded from our Mickey Thompsons scale 45’s on 1.5’s to 1.9 bf Goodrich 45’s. Huge difference. Trail finder 2 linked. Our truck definitely wouldn’t keep up but it would hold its own. Nice build.
How did you get your tracks to perform so well? Mine constantly clog and then start skipping in the snow. I acclimate for several hours before the runs too. Those are performing amazing.
I have had those same problems. It depends a lot of the moisture of the snow and temperature. Colder is better, i would say -5C / 23F or colder and the snow shouldn't stick. Good luck!
Sweet! It is awesome when it tunnels through the snow and when it kicks up a little rooster tail. Love my Traxx so far. That wheelbase though! Is that extended or is the Power Wagon body really just so short?
I am so surprised to see how well it does, my trx4 is 15 lbs with 2.2s… I am looking at buying a set of tracks for snow as tires in soft snow, rig just sinks
I tested tires vs tracks in snow in this truck. PL 1.9" XL bogger 5.4" tall and axial ryft stock 2.2" boggers 5.9" tall. Both sucked in snow compared to tracks. Here is a video of that test: ua-cam.com/video/Rvq1G0ZEjpE/v-deo.html

U need to large tire
Tires are hopeless in this kind of snow.
