Congrats on the new channel! Subscribed! And the only one I own of your top 5 is Saxon... I just did an episode with my nephew of 2024 albums I have SO FAR... the top 10 will come (for me) at the end of this year!
Good Luck, John! Its about time for some more alternatives to Grant, hopefully with way fewer tangents taken. I mean his shows last forever…what the heck 😩Short & Sweet is the way to go 👍
Thank you, Marlon! I am definitely going shorter with the shows since most of them will be solo. As for tangents, if you can tolerate the one I did on the Ted Nugent show that Johnny Metal and I were part of on Grant's channel, then I think you'll dig them. 👍
I watched your first program on your new channel. Your picks are rather unique and I'll have to check them out. I’ve checked out some of the shows on The Contrarians and Grant's Rock Warehaus. I have enjoyed them and the live ones are superb. I will continue to watch you as your take on albums seem pretty cool. Manys the time that music has been a great friend to me. It seems as though that's true with you as well. Good luck. I'll be watching!
Thank you so much for your support! I agree completely that music can be a great friend to us. Thank you also for checking out my appearances on the Contrarians and Grant's Rock Warehaus! Those live shows on Grant's channel are a lot of fun to be part of and we have a lot more shows lined up. Cheers!
@@czarevich Ha! Thanks! That's great that he opened for them. I saw Tinsley twice in Sellersville and Danielle there once as well. Her brother Kris was playing drums that night and sadly he has passed on as well.
The first You Tube live video I actually joined the chat on was that initial show on the Linda Ronstadt albums. Grant & you, along with Peter Jones, myself and a few others reliving those great albums, even if Linda herself wrongfully disliked Mad Love lol...Best of luck with the new venture !!
Thank you Eric! Yes, I remember you and Peter being in the chat on that one. That was my first show in a while with Grant and that was a lot of fun. Cheers!
Hi John… congratulations on your new channel ! I have to check out those Ian Hunter albums. I’ve heard nothing but good things about them. My fav 5 so far this year : Judas Priest Invincible Shield, Bruce Dickinson Mandrake Project, Honeymoon Suite Alive, Black Country Communion V and Sebastian Bach Child Within The Man. New Saxon, Collective Soul and Deep Purple are really good also. Thank you John. Chez
Thanks so much Chez! You have a great Top 5 here. I am going to pick up the new Dickinson and BCC in the next few weeks. BTW, you are killing it on Tim's new Kansas series. Cheers!
I’m with you on choices 2 & 3 . Not heard the rest so will check them out. My top 5 are on the Contrarians show that premiers tonight. Best of luck with the channel, looking forward to future episodes.
Thank you Parish! So I watched the Contrarians show after I filmed this and I loved your choices. I haven't heard the new Green Day yet. Also loved that Kevin chose the Black Crowes as that and the new Priest would have been my honorables. Cheers!
Awesome to see this! I would enjoy seeing more shows from you talking about the music you love! I am going to be honest, I have not heard of any of these albums except Saxon. I have really weird albums so far, the Saxon one, Scott Stapp Higher Power, the new Within Temptation live album Worlds Collide. And the Silent Hill Short Message soundtrack by Akira Yamaoka.
Great first show. Good luck and looking forward to more great content from the Nut
Thanks so much @inmyhouse11, I appreciate it! Cheers!

Subscribed! I learned about this from Ladano... WTF
Thank you Grant! I recorded this AFTER our show last night. I only told Ryan beforehand!
My favorites are Anette Olzon - Rapture,Judas Priest - Invincible Shield and Ace Frehley - 10,000 Volts.
Thank you Eric! Priest was very close for me.
How exciting and well wishes for great success!!!
Thank you Peter!
@@JohntheMusicNut my pleasure!!
Awe ... a Contrarian tadpole has grown some legs! You're an old pro by now - rock on, John! 🤘🐸

Hey John, I'm glad u are doing this 😎👍🎼👋
Thank you Ernesto! Yeah, it was a long time coming.
My list includes the new Priest, Bruce Dickinson, Arkells, and a few surprises I won't reveal until December.
Thanks Mike! Priest was very close for me and I have to pick up the new Bruce. I am hearing so many great things about it.

Heyna or no? My ears were ringing- it was the name checks. The maiden voyage video!
That's right Nick! The incomparable Nick S Squire just rollllllsssss off the tongue, doesnt it? I forgot to say tender when reviewing Saxon. 😁
@@JohntheMusicNut more like unconscionable. Cool picks btw and dearly departed bandleader opened for Tinsley and Trampled at Sellersville.
