Love roberto coming to the shop and playing with michael. What a treat to have two guitar players at the same time. They meld very well.
I've got an 81 4003 in jetglo with a super thin neck profile. It's not in the best condition cosmetically and it's case is a bit rough, but it's got great patina and its straight and sounds beautiful. I purchased it from someone who's pretty knowledgeable about Rickenbackers and he said the neck profile on it was the second thinist he'd ever held and in his experience by 81 the neck profiles were starting to get pretty fat so this one kinda stands out. I love my Ric so much. It was my holy grail (if you know you know) and it shares a stable with a Peavey T-40, a mid 90s Fender P-bass Special (also known as a cowpoke) and a few others.
Two outstanding musicians, making it look easy. Kudos. As a bass player, I follow Roberto closely. To me, he is the consummate professional. I have learned his preferences. I thought it was funny how he talked about how much he liked the appearance of the bass, but did not go overboard talking about the tone and playability.

😮oh wow u r a grammar teacher 😮🤘🏼✊🏼🤔🤫🇵🇷
For us OLD folks, when fire was new, Rickenbacher had an H. Thirties lap steels and amps sold had H's. Later, the K appeared. All is well.
We All Love These.
In my opinion, the construction of the 4001 can give some credibility to the Firebird having been through neck. To me, adds capital T to THUMP.
1981 moving pictures....though that's a jazz bazz
Wish you could somehow clue us in as to the asking price on some of these gorgeous instruments. (I understand you don't want to just put it out there Just after revealing it like yeah this is $3,500 Come get it.. and cheapen the episodes. I agree with that. ) Like the ones that are featured you know at least give like a ballpark as to what norm might be asking ya know¡¿!? I don't know if that makes sense or you can even be done without like I said cheapening the whole process
👋👍👍👍💚💚💚
👍✌❤😎
Too bad I couldn't hear the bass guitar.
Try headphones or play it through a car/tv, it’s hard to pick it up in a mix off a phone but it’s done really well on their part
