Why we need a international date line? becouse we calculate date on the basis of time.. suppose the time at London is 00:00 am...and the time on 180° will be 12:00 noon..but if you cross the line 180° any side then there is no immediate change in date...

Well explained. Appreciate the effort. One thing needs to be made clear as it could be confusing. Teacher keeps mentioning that you will get to live an extra day while explaining International Date Line (in Hndi). Actually you don't as time is constant everywhere on earth. She should mention that you will live in the same calendar date for more than 24 hours. You never get to live anything more or less regardless. Don't confuse Time with Clock or Date.
