Honestly, you showing us your normal skin in videos regularly makes me feel positively about my own skin. With youtubers using filters to make their skin look perfect all the time it's hard to feel good about yourself but YOU do things differently and personally I love it!
She’s such a sweetheart, I loved watching her video. For a really young woman, she has good knowledge of skincare. Yes she needs to upgrade a few products, but she’s learning and growing. And her honesty on acne and mental health is a breath of fresh air. I like her 😊
In regards to the mean comments, please don't forget the amount of 12 year-olds on this platform that have nothing better to do and don't know any better. You are absolutely gorgeous both inside and out!
I used Ponds all through middle school and high school. It worked well to keep my dry eczema prone skin moisturized. Then, I found Derma e and have been hooked on them ever since. Just to let people know, orange blossoms do not smell like oranges. They smell kinda like Jasmine. Don't put citrus on your skin! Enjoying the videos!
My dad taught a course to med students on how mental health affects the body for years. Unfortunately it was recently cut from the university’s curriculum but I liked her point about raising the awareness of that connection!
a dry skin with acne routine from you would be so good! i get especially dry in the winter and i need to switch up some products i think, especially my cleanser!
I just want to say that your struggle with acne has made you a better skincare resource for those of us struggling with acne. My skin has gotten SIGNIFICANTLY better from your suggestions. We have a similar skin type, so it's been such a great resource for me. I've tried taking recommendations from other skincare UA-camrs, but since their life experiences are different, their recommendations don't always align with me.
The ponds dry skin cream is the only moisturizer that feels like it’s actually doing it’s job.. I’ve tried the cerave moisturizing lotion did NOTHING for me and the fab one sucked too. I know I’ve tried tula and some others but I really enjoy the ponds! The cold cream as well.
Love your videos and inspirational messages! My mom has been using Ponds over 50 years and it’s the only thing she uses. Her skin is amazing for someone in her 60s
The ponds dry cream is the only moisturiser that doesn’t break me out. Any other thing u try does break me out so bad. So, I think she should keep it in her skincare if it works for her.
@@scienceislove2014if it works for her,let her be.It's better to stick to basics and be on a safe side than use some overhyped shit that was used by a unicorn 200 years ago.
So here's the thing: Ponds isn't impressive. And I really don't know why someone with her money doesn't get a better moisturizer. But for 5 bucks...I mean, if you're on a serious budget the $5 explains beating the CeraVe. And in terms of just plain petroleum jelly the Ponds is a better formulation that soaks somewhat into the skin and feels hydrating while also providing a nice late of occlusion on top which dry skin people crave. So I do understand, Ponds isn't impressive...but those are the reasons it tends to beat out the substitute that were mentioned.
Even though I cannot be vegan in my diet because of health reasons, thanks to you cassandra I've consciously decided to be vegan and cruelty free in everything else. I'm so glad you've made me aware of this! 🥰
I started to follow you for skincare, I'm staying because you seem a great person that makes me feel good after years of depression, and I am gonna follow this TikTok star too! Thank you Cassandra! Thank you Lauren!
Press on nails are so great!! I'm wearing a set from kiss rn and I'm never going back to acrylics. Press on's are so cheap and I can get a new set every two weeks!
I love press on nails, as a violinist and someone who doesn't wear long nails usually it's nice to have them even if just for one night knowing I can go enjoy my life normally immediately after 😍
I suffer from depression so doing my skincare can sometimes be so difficult as you said a task not self care. To help myself out when I really don’t feel like it I sit down and relax for a little while I watch 1 or 2 of your videos, I find that gives me the motivation and reminds me how much I actually love to do it. I’m then able to do my skincare and do it whilst having fun. Thank you for coming to my Tedtalk 😊
The soap & glory cleanser looks interesting, I might have to try it. Ponds does work and the price is nice but I stopped using it since it wasn't cruelty-free.
I do appreciate you showing your natural skin. I don’t blame anyone for filming their best skin in the most flattering lighting, but it does make you feel like, man I have so far to go. And then I see you upload a video like, whoop, got a breakout today! and it reminds me that my skin can continually improve while never being perfect.
You mentioned Dermalogica, and as an esthetician who works solely with Dermalogica, I’d love to see some sort of review video from you! After I switched to all derm products my skin absolutely thrived and glowed, especially as an oily girl using the active clearing line!!!
Soap and Glory is British and you’re able to buy it at Boots. Very reasonable prices. When it came over here it started at CVS and was still fairly priced. Not sure when it got in to Sephora, but it’s very much a drugstore brand
I can't described how much thankful I am to you. You have helped me so much for my acne prone skin, to the point that i can't even believe that my skin is finally clear. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and information about products, for us😭😭😭💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Dear Cassandra , you are beautiful 😍. You are naturally beautiful. You are really good human being . If people criticize other people appearances that mean that they do it to themself even harder . So we have just pity them because they live in constant hell because no one is perfect .
I'm going through A LOT right now and your message in this video reminded me to step back and take care of myself. I am actually crying because I needed to hear a lot of what you said. Thank you.
Pond's cream is kind of a grandma moisturizer but it is amazing. It's the only face cream in my opinion (alongside the og Nivea & the 8 hour cream from Elizabeth Arden) that actually worked in anti-aging or healing skin. Because we have reviews from people that were using it their whole lives.
Couldn’t agree more! The hardships we go through make us who we are today (with the right support along the way ☺️). Love my weekly dose of positivity from your content! Ps - that blue looks so beautiful on you😻
I had cystic acne when I was younger and I honestly wish I would have had someone like you to look up to. You are amazing and thank you for your channel and thank you for being you.
First time ever commenting on any UA-cam video after all these years .. But you ma'am are someone I want my daughter to watch ! How honest and beautiful you are inside out is such a refresher from alot of negative influences we have in this world.
My skincare routine is 1,000% part of my self-care regimen. I absolutely LOOOOVE putting on your videos and learning more about skincare while doing my OWN skincare! 💜🌈
I just stumbled upon you and already own the Jeffree Skin line and love it. But I’ve been loving all of your videos so far. That statement you made in this video around 10 mins was everything. Love you. Keep up the great work!!
Soap & Glory is a Drugstore brand in Canada for over 10 years. I can't believe people are buying this again. Its full of fragrance and makes you quite itchy. But it smells super nice.
She's adorable. No matter the products she choose it's about her ATTITUDE towards taking care of your skin at early age. I had the same attitude at her age and the products were "trial & error" LOL But what matters is being conscious about it. 🙌🏻
would love to see a dry skin with acne routine! I'm a first year grad student and the stress has kicked up some extra acne (not that I've ever been totally acne free, I'm in my early 20s) but I'm much dryer than I was in my teens and am trying to find a good balance of acne treatment and preventing dry patches. The Naturium Azelaic Acid seems to have been doing my skin some good, I'm curious if you think that's an effective product for dry skin dealing with minor acne / post-acne hyperpigmentation. also, yes to everything about therapy!!!
Girl. Every time you say of you want this video let me tell you my answer is ALWAYS YES. I want to really see a different types of skins like logic? And understanding? Like I want to know how oily skin functions vs dry skin vs combination skin or something. I have been watching skinfluencers for a while (very few of them i can watch without zoning out bc cHeMiStRy) but dont feel comfortable taking ppl’s word for skin stuff. You give a lot more logic and reasoning and I really appreciate that. I’d love to see a video like that from you!
I used to love the ponds face lotion. My mom has used it forever and still uses it. We both have very dry skin and rosacea. My rosacea is mild but my mom's is much much worse. But I will say, this doesn't help her rosacea at all. It also doesn't make it worse for her.
Hey ! My grandma has been using ponds for ever and her skin at 97 years old is beautiful 😍 So I think that is true ! I am going to start using it as well 😃
That Soap & Glory face cleanser broke my dry skin out so bad. It's super creamy so I used it as a first cleanse. It smells really good though, and you get a ton, if it works for your skin.
I've recently discovered your channel and been binging it ever since! As someone who also grew up with A LOT of acne and a very messy curly hair, I get it queen!! 💖 Also, where's your butterfly necklace from? The one you always wear, it's so cute!
Cassandra might have not been the reason i got addicted to Skin care, but her and Dr.Dray are the reason I'm staying T.T Cassandra showing her "flaws", not constantly throwing expensive PR products on my face and keeping it real is what I like. Keep going Cyster Queen

Same! My acne prone skin has an oily sheen to it but its dehydrated af 🙈

Have you tried cetaphil cream?
try the cerave healing ointment
Pond's is superior to CeraVe or Cetaphil honestly. People are afraid to use it because it's kind of a "grandma" face cream but it is legit amazing.
