I have an idea. Random number generator battle. RNG decides which Gens you will use . Then you do it a second time to see which mon you get per that gen. (1st roll=Gen, 2nd roll= mon). You can through in random moves and abilities if you like.
For example 1st gen roll gives you gen 1, and 1st mon roll gives you Beedrill. 2nd gen roll gives gen 7, and 2nd roll gives you Toracat. So on and so forth.
I have two challenge suggestions: 1) Choose pokemon based only on their cries 2) Choose pokemon from a random range of numbers (e.g. you use a random number generator to get a range of 5 like 135 - 140 and then you can choose any pokemon from that set of pokedex numbers)
I swear I've been hooked to this challenges ever since I was recommended German Pokémon names then we fight. You guys are so engaging to watch and I love the dynamics between you too. You cheer up my days. I look forward to these videos
Grimmsnarl would've been nice. Spirit Break to lower special attack + Prankster to set up screens? Probably would've been a good pairing with Gyarados or Snorlax
As I watch QuickGG assemble his team, I can’t help but shake my head. I know Snorlax is a Beeflord but why would you ever get a mono-type in this kind of challenge. It guarantees that at least half of your team will share a type.
When you’re explaining these rules, you might want to make it a bit clearer whether you have to catch the next mon of that type that you see, or you can go pick whatever of that type that you want. That was a bit weird to figure out
Aw man, didn't get to see the famous combo of Guts Obstagoon rocking a flame orb and Facade. Took that boy with me in competitive matches, and absolutely swept with him. Loving the typelockes, though. Looking forward to the next one.
I really enjoy the type chains. Ended up doing a team myself. Surprise Trade got an Inkay, so I then went Obstagoon, Heliolisk, Magnezone, Corviknight, and Mantine. Suggestion for Obstagoon if you use one later. Flame Orb. Use Obstruct to buy a turn to get the burn, and then use Facade powered up by burn and Guts. Works wonders
I like how this one implemented more strategy to the challenge; I would love to see more strategy based challenges where even with a worse pokemon you can make it more competitive than a worse pokemon. 👍
I think Chilln was looking for revenge when Quick wrecked everybody with that Raichu on Dobbs channel (even though I didn’t know who he was until you guys did a video with him lol). But he quickly learned, when you invite the boys...you’re gonna take the boops and the BOPS!
I like the type chain idea! On the next one maybe you can type chain a team based on the type of moves it knows (randomised movesets according to type). E.g. start with a charmander that knows tackle, ember, seismic toss and calm mind, means the next pokemon can be normal, fire, fighting or psychic

Challenge suggestion! you know the challenge you did with the Pokemon Random Chooser, where are you randomly got a team of six and needed to choose one of them to be on your team? so you do that again but with color locking, what do I mean: you have a wheel with all the Rainbow colors plus black and white on it, you spin the wheel and then let's say yellow comes up then you randomly select 6 Pokemons and you need to choose the Pokemon that have a yellow color scheme as the main color or at least a big portion of the color, if there is no yellow Pokemon then you randomly select again until there is a yellow Pokemon. you get one skip for example if you have yellow and the only yellow Pokemon is Elekid and you don't want him you can skip him but then you need to choose every Pokemon that is fitting for the color scheme even if you don't feel like it! I think a challenge like this can work with the Pokemon randomizer because it's way too difficult to do if you need to move around a map, what do you think?
It’s funny that when the teams aren’t made of randomly encountered Pokémon and these dudes actually show their skill/knowledge in the game, Quick is totally hopeless.
Don't be hating on the Quick so fast my guy, every good match is made possible by an honorable opposing team. Respect both sides and enjoy the entertainement they bring. Most of the time I root for Chilln but doesn't mean I can shame the Quickster!
@@CZ2_Delta Quick loses like 3 out of 4 matches and I have a feeling the only reason he wins half of the remainder is because Chill throws the match. Just the fact that Chill actually uses spikes/stealth rocks and quickGG never sets up with them are evidence that their skill level is nowhere even remotely close.
@@jakmfuub3294 It is reasonable to only strike with attacking moves, and hope to finish off the opponent's Pokemon in 1 shot so there's no need to even set up. While you're setting up, you use a turn, and that could potentially make you lose.
@@NotSmartGuy until heavy duty boots were introduced rocks was easily the most valuable move you could use and you could argue its still second behind knock off now
I have one suggestion, this is how it work: A encounter random pokemon and capture it > B can only capture a pokemon that is type strong against one of A's pokemon type > keep repeat until each other have 6 pokemons. e.g. A got a Charizard which is fire and flying type, then B only can capture water, rock, electric, ground, ice e.t.c and its A turn to do the same.
This kinda made me realize how little y'all explore the region o.o like the Snorlax is almost always near the bridge and the Machamp is further down on the side! :V I ain't complaining just suggesting y'all should explore the region with the regular Pokemon that appear more often! Ya know? Appreciate the size of the region and what not!
I have two challenge suggestions: 1) let poketch equipment "coin toss" decide if u can keep your pokemon 2) try to guess the pokedex number (odd/even), if your guess is correct you can keep it
I didn't get to join the live stream but watching it now, and I am really glad that you added the strategic part in the challenge. Making your own team, with your own moves and items, that feels really like the Pokemon Showdown. Also, can you guys do more challenges in Sword and Shield, coz the whole environment, it feels so good and calming, with how interactive all of it is, the catching Pokemon while roaming around seems like the best thing in the challenge ( and also, we get Dynamaxing, which is again, awesome).

Hello I have a suggestion for a new challenge, lets call it “ the elimination challenge” With 3 random starters. 1- guy 1 check his starters without telling guy 2 what are they 2- guy 1 declares which pokemon he would pick ( left - middle - right) mind games works here too. 3- then guy 2 declare which two starters he will eliminate ( guy 1 will not pick). 4- no skips “for extra fun” 5- dont show pokemons in showdown prematch “element of surprise and reaction”. Thank you
So basically, Guy 1 says "I would take center" and Guy 2 gets think for a second and say "you get left". And they go back and forth blindly choosing the other persons team while the player in question gets to anxiously watch as they are given the best or worst options right in front of their faces. Sounds like fun.
Here’s a video idea if you want it’s called Opposites Attract: Fill a random word generator with all Pokémon types and spin it 6 times. Once you have six types( doubles count) you give your types to the other person and they catch you your team with 3 skips. Dual types count.
I have a challenge idea: You catch the first pokemon you encounter and then the next pokemon you are allowed to catch must have atleast one type that is super-effective against your first mon. You continue this with the 2nd, 3rd etc. until you have 6 :D
Challenge Idea: Each of you use a Random Number Generator to pick an episode of the Pokemon anime and your team is the first six Pokemon seen in the episode. Probably have to not count Ash's Pokemon though
Only misplays I saw were not clicking waterfall, which you noticed, and you should have used flying press on Bewear. Because its flying and fighting, it was 4x effective. Good match though.
Challenge idea. You catch each others teams and then pick one of 3 for 6 tms. For variety or mistery you can not tell each other the team or tm until its battle time.
Idea: You both catch 12 and pick 6. The other person is shown all 12 of your choices (just the mons. Not the abilities or moves) and can switch up to 3 around
12 hours to catch and raise the best team possible on a randomly selected gen. Might be a lot of work, but would be well worth it. get the clock ticking. this one isnt just luck, but a lot of skill too.
You should do a challenge where you use a pokemon fusion generator and you have to choose which pokemon in the fusion to use. (Example a hauntmander a fusion of character and haunter. So you'd choose either Haunter or charmander.)
Assemble the weakest team of baby pokemon that you can and then see who can lose the fastest. It may suprise you how frustrating it is to intentionally lose when you are both trying to throw the match.
Challenge 1: Tell them how many letters the Pokemon have and give them one letter(of your choice). They pick a random starter. 2) catch a random Pokemon, find what number that is on the Pokedex, then get a number generator of 1-50 and add it to the number and find what Pokemon that is on the Pokedex. If it is one of the last gen Pokemon, then subtract that number instead.
You should do a battle on random generation where you select what types you want, but the other person has to catch that type on their first encounter if it’s one of the 6 selected types, only one type (Duel type is considered as the primary unless that type is already caught then go for secondary if one of selected types) no skips
This one is actually one of the best. You actually had to grind to find the best team, and then the fight was pretty good even though one-sided. Rematch for my brother QuickGG or we riot

Love to see a challenge where they pick a number between 1-3 and what number they pick the other person has to do that encounter on that route, e.g gg picks 2 ok route 1 chillin gets the second encounter he faces
I got an idea for you guys. One of u starts to catch a pokemon. The other then has to catch the first pokemon he see's with the main type of the pokemon the one before just caught. Till both of you are having a full team. Could also do with secondary type!

Except that burn also lowers attack a bit, so wouldn't poison be better?

I feel like older fans like the OG feel of showdown and younger fans prefer the S&S animations.
The ability to randomize and hack the ROMs on 3rd gen is really cool. The battle scene is fun on sword and shield but I prefer the old gen videos.

Love to see a challenge where they pick a number between 1-3 and what number they pick the other person has to do that encounter on that route, e.g gg picks 2 ok route 1 chillin gets the second encounter he faces

I got an idea for you guys.
One of u starts to catch a pokemon. The other then has to catch the first pokemon he see's with the main type of the pokemon the one before just caught.
Till both of you are having a full team. Could also do with secondary type!
