For a small company your doing amazing. I buy products from you and they arrive in a pretty decent manner, even with the fact their custom made. Your far better than Top Flight Automotive, they won't be around much longer, they'll fail just like Corvette Mods did for not shipping peoples stuff out, been 60 days since I bought a spoiler, absolutely pathetic. I have definitely worked to get down delivery times. I have companies I order from, major established brands that just flat out forget my order. A company I oreer wheel centers from 18mo ago, I finally called and they just sent it and to the wrong address. It got delivered and lost, money gone. I ordered an intake from Edelbrock in January...still no sign of it. Front end parts for my hummer was supposed to 6wks, its been 12. I dont get on brands because I know what its like BUT...I am not sure sometimes. I appreciate that comment though, I have delivered over 2700 headlight kits through this pandemic and supply chain time, from my house/garage, all made to order and now we are releasing the c5 and c6 MaxDin units. Me and basically 2 helpers. I think a lot of companies can probably do better.

This might have to be my next purchase for my 13 GS. I daily drive it and this seems like a game changer. I might have missed it but can users change the colors of the physical buttons? Also does it have auto dim?
Everything is configurable, as I'll show in the next video. Auto dims, has night mode, has blackout mode, fully customizable colors on the buttons, the screen wallpaper, everything. You can 100% make it your own, entirely.
I wonder if you're going to slowly become a tech help line when both the C5 and C6 screens are out there in customer hands. What firmware are you running? Did you complete the factory reset?
I dont really think so. The beta group has worked through a lot of problems, in terms of user issues. With that, I've been able to get a good.picture of what causes difficulty. Honestly, this system is VERY well sorted, at this stage. Install is cake...easier than any double din, because this is made specifically for the car. Updates and the update process causes the most random user issues, but videos will be made for those updates, to show step by step. Lastly, its just more about people working through the system. Just like any new laptop or piece of electronics, it takes time to really understand how it works and routinely functions. I think the consistency of phones spoils people a bit, because the transition and how its used, is consistent. Here, aligning phones to it, and learning how to integrate it into a car that never had it...it just takes time and playing around with it. Having a strong support community.on fb, of beta testers and users will also lighten that load a lot.
I have a question about the head unit? My factory hvac controls are going tits up, flashing or no display at all, not being able to control fan speeds Or it works just fine How reliable is your head unit controls for hvac and heated seats?
The hvac units will fail in c6's more and more. You could obviously have other hvac issues, but whatever is related to the controller side of things, this eliminates that. The issue is, does the rest of your system work correctly. Many people will expect magic, but an aged car can have a lot of compounded problems with blend doors, actuators, etc BUT if your control unit clearly has issues, this would eliminate that of course.

This is due to the C6 grounding issues or incorrect use of the red box. If you're non bose, no red box should be in place, if you're bose then the red box gets used. Bose tends to be the system with grounding issues, we've found. A ground strap should be added to the rear of the unit, with an additional ground wire. The facebook group KnightDriveTV MaxDin Support Group has details on this procedure. This is the nature of the C6 construction, having ground breakdown, which affects a lot of electronics like the BCM, etc. I am releasing a how-to on the grounding procedure shortly ahead.

It's bright, but like any screen, double din, whatever, you're going to struggle to compete with the sun. We have glare protectors on many betas, no one has stated it's any issue to them at all. It's angled in the dash to avoid glare, this was a key design factor.
Will this have split screen options in the software? For example, I have PLX (Bluetooth digital gauge display)apps on half of the screen, and the other half will be CarPlay-A/C control *This feature would be great for people with AFR and boost gauges, a clean setup without ugly gauge pods on the side pillar
I did it for other products, yes it will happen for this. The beta group installs were done to come up with routing and ideas for certain things that will be added to that video.
@@KnightDriveTV Please don't, I find nothing about C4's to be worth anyone's time. The LT engine has a bad ignition design and the styling is dross and uninspired. On a positive note they do retain the quality suspension setup that makes for a cheap race package once you toss the LT engine for an LS one. I'll stop there because all the C4 guys will piss and moan. But we all know .

One of the best products that could come to market for the Corvette Family, brings the C6, soon the C5 right back into the current era -as far as the interior goes. Your well engineered product completely makes the entire car as seen from the inside out , simply fantastic job well done! I cant wait until I can get my hands on one, this should be voted in as best new product to market at SEMA.. Congratulations!
I did submit it to new products, as seen in the SEMA vids I posted, but some kind of interior vacuum won I think. Thanks for the positive words though, I wish more people in the C6 community felt the same way. Sales have been very poor.
Yes, a pathway to display the data just needs created. If the ecm sees it, then it can be fed to the screen via bluetooth. The key here, is the display size allows for some VERY bold and pronounced displays for active warnings and makes for some good in-car video as well. Lots of advantages with the big screen displaying gauge packages.
Squeaks and I talked about a carputer setup at SEMA in 2010 for the GTM...that photo was taken in 2010 at Palazzo...figured I'd toss him in there for ol times sake.
Anyone who is thinking about upgrading to this unit, do it! It completely changes the car and brings it up to current luxury standards.

Yes, hot spot, wifi, or you can use a 4g sim card data connection from cellular

It does do split screens. We have run google.maps.and maxxecu data in a split, etc
