My name is Jay Swanson - I'm an American writer living in Paris on an artist visa and hoping to make the city of light my home base - at least for the foreseeable future. I write science-fiction and fantasy, vlog daily, and love pizza a little too much.

have you found the ones on Pont Neuf?
right between the two Pont Neuf Metro exits there's a plaque with "1st Arr. Quai du Louvre" on it, right next to a short concrete post or pillar. on the BACK SIDE of that post facing the river is one. street level. you'll have to be on one of the bridge outcroppings to see it.
then walk out to the Statue équestre d'Henri IV. facing the statue look to the left-rear corner of the fence there's a light post and the sign for Vedettes Du Pont Neuf. on the concrete base of the fence, facing the river, is one more. right on the corner. you'll have to be further along the bridge or on Quai de Conti to see it.
i only saw these two, there might be more.
I'm not sure if I have those - I have some in that area but I just found another one online that's in that area that I don't have, so I think it warrants some more exploration =)

You missed another Invader in the opposite side of the fountain. I saw it when I was there a few weeks ago and it even showed in the background of your video.
Which one? The blue wannabe piccachu? That one is fake sadly, but there are a few more real ones just on the other side of the arches.

There are lots of great places! Try the neighborhoods around Republique and Oberkampf for some great options.

When you go on runs in Paris do you run on the streets or more in the parks? And how is it running on the sidewalks roads and such?
I like both but I tend to run in parks because it's easier - less traffic and thus fewer things to worry about. Sidewalks and roads are pretty packed, not the best for running but you can get used to it. Running along the river is probably the best - it's practically uninterrupted for miles.

I went to Paris in 2014 and was not particularly looking for any invader's work at the time, but I did manage to catch the one on Rue De Anglais, which now seems to be deteriorating, glad I got a good photo of it.

I assume it will be hot weather and we will be wearing shorts as we traverse the city streets.
Will we be able to enter the historic churches (Notre Dame, Saint Chapelle, etc)? or are they strict on dress code? Thanks in advance and happy belated birthday.
Basically the rules tend to be no hats for dudes, and ladies need to have their shoulders covered. Otherwise you should be good =) Have fun while you're here and thanks for the wishes =D
