After watching this video 30 times over for review purposes I think the story of Gus might be trying to say that you can’t rebel against life/death either.
Anyhow, what did you think about the game and/or this way of explaining the story? Also, what other, similar games would recommend? :)

You made me realize how superficial I am when it comes to games. You got so much meaning out of the story. I remember playing the game, remember experiencing all feelings you mention while playing, but I lacked the philosophical conclusion of all this. Great job, as always!

I don't know if Ian Dallas (writer) meant it this way, but it was certainly how I perceived it. Nonetheless, that's the beauty of all art, everyone sees something different, for me this made the most sense, and I always wanted to share it since I played it.
Thanks a lot for your comment, much appreciated!

Fuck man, your entire channel is a diamond in the rough. It is criminal how little traction this is getting rn. The message in this one is great as well, feels like I should have played the game before watching an analysis on it though haha. Great video as always, looking forward to the next one.

Oh my, thank you so much!
I believe it will take a while until UA-cam starts pushing it towards more people since the channel is still pretty new and I only upload about once per month. Regarding Edith Finch, you can still play the game, I played through it a couple of times by now, some of the stories still hit pretty hard. So even if it's spoiled a bit, it's still a pretty good time 🙂
And thanks again for the comment and the words, I really appreciate it!
