I gotta congratulate those that rode in SUPER sketchy conditions! Lots of finger-pointing at AMA Pro right now but no one can control the weather and it was entertaining to watch. Cam went down three times in ONE race! Determined!!

First of all, I appreciate the upload of the race, thanks. Having said that, It really makes me sad to see AMA Superbike (and supersport) is such bad shape...less and less riders, less tracks, and aside from the UA-cam videos, terrible coverage for the events. And we wonder why there isn't any talent coming from the good ol' USA? Come on guys... This is just sad. They either needs to turn this around and give 100% or just stop the races all together.
When I'm 17 or 18 I plan on racing supersport in AMA after I go to superbike school in Cal. For spring break when I'm 17 BTW I'm 15 right now no racing experience but Ive always wanted to race motorcycles :)
Dang, there's gotta be a better way to present this... Take some cues from dorna... I admire Scott Russell but he and the other guy are no Gavin and Nick... The broadcast really needs on board cameras. I'd volunteer just to supply and operate the video feeds so there's more excitement to commentate on... These races are close enough to be just as entertaining as motogp and wsbk, but the need for on board cameras is desperate.
What's going on with AMA Pro Racing? Last couple of seasons I had a difficult time trying to catch the races on SPEED; My DVR couldn't figure out when the races were being shown because the titles were different and the races were shown on off days like late Tuesday nights. It was frustrating to the point where I stopped following it. It's sad because there are some great riders on these circuits. I think poor marketing is destroying this. There is such a large riding community that would fill the tracks and buy their paraphernalia if only they market it better. Their online "STORE" button isn't even working.
I know I'm 9+ years late on with commenting 😂, but what what was up with Jason Ferrell trying to be a damn track martial after crashing his bike on lap 6? "Get the hell off the track Jason", instead of bitchin', pissin', and moanin', on the track, while the race is STILL continuing. I get it that he was trying to say rain was on the track, but trying to blame AMA for not stopping the race for him is bogus. Him ranting on the track while the race is still continuing can put him and other track martials in danger. No one else dumped their bikes on that lap (or bitched about rain), but Jason wanted to be a track martial the very moment he dumps his bike and is sitting in the kitty litter.
Looks to me that theres no money in AMA racing any more. Just look at the turn out at AMA Super Bike races and compare that to Moto GP. AMA must have $0.00 for budget.
Yeah..the same issue forced ALMS to combine with Grand-Am -___- American road racing just doesn't get the attention of circuit racing in europe.. it's sad
True club racing at its best , I mean worse. I for one am embarassed that this crap show is our national championship. Way to go dmg or what ever the heck you call yourseff.
This coverage is so terrible. Scott Russell is, of course, a great champion and a great guy, but the other guy doing the commentary needs to go. He sounds like he knows nothing about motorcycles! Front and rear have the exact same sized contact patch? A minor slide is "completely crossed up"? Get that guy off the air! AMA is so sad to watch now.
the old coverage on CBS was so much better
