For the past few years, there's been one DJ crossfader on the market that seems to rise above the competition. The Innofader is a durable and highly customizable fader that can be purchased and installed to upgrade your current crossfader or linefaders found on a DJ Mixer or DJ Controller. Nice video again , going to purchase the new Innofader pro 2 for my controller. I know it is a custom fader for scratching but does it really sound as good as everyone said it does?

Do you have phantom midi signal in traktor when your fader is open? (innofader pnp2)

Kareem, not sure if I missed it, but will the INNOFADER PNP also work for the LINE FADERS? Never mind...lol...just saw @ 12:53 that you can use the same innofaders for the LINE FADERS. My bad!
***** Brilliant! Ok, I'm definitely looking to do this as I just got a Z2. Now my next question is: If I replace the stock crossfader with the Innofader PNP, would the curve contour knob on the mixer still work or is the setting on the Innofader PNP fixed? I noticed you said you had to make adjustments before sealing the mixer back after the swap...thanks man!

kidsushi the warranty is voided if you unscrew the bottom, but the top comes off without any trace

hi nice vid bro.. ok.. The Full Size Innofader PNP can be adjusted for tension, curve, and cut in.. tension yes, but cut and curve? as i know when we plug our Z2 to TSP they work internally, so the cut n curve programmed by software is'n it? or not?
It is, but then you can fine-tune it to make the cut in and curve even more custom and more direct to your touch or response. You can really dial in the PNP with the Z2, much more so than the mini innofader.
***** how tight is the cut? i'm really exited cause i'm getting one of these.

Does Z2 comes out with innofaders? Amazon told that ' The Traktor Kontrol Z2 mixer provides a heavy metal, standard installation-height chassis, sturdy RGB control buttons, and Innofaders for rock-solid dependability.'
The Z2 comes with mini-innofaders... I installed a full-sized metal Innofader PNP for this as it feels more sturdy and has more adjustments that the Mini-Innofaders don't have...

but...the z2 come with innfader inside him...so...whats the point? i want to buy this mixer but i saw in youtube allot of issues about his fader...is this change is to fix the problem?... and thanks dor the vid - the best !

it is the French standards (220V) the crossfader pnp
+DJ BENNY electronics works with so little current (besides, surely DC instead of AC). 220V (actually 230 since some years ago because Europe standardization) is transformed inside to another lower current (the same worldwide).

You're going to have to take a thin flat-head screw driver and pry it out. It's been in there for all these years, so It's probably a little sealed up...
can i replace with first original innofader(first generation)?

I believe the mini has no curve adjustment, but you'd need to check the website - innofader.com - they will also be able to advise whether or not you can use as line faders - they need to be modded often to work this way in many mixers I read
Hi! What cut in/lag/tension settings do you recommend for scratching? Im gonna install one into my Vestax PMC 05...thanks!
cut in should be a short lag - you should on a sharp curve setting have very little room from closed to open sound in the fader. So you move your finger a hair and it opens the fader. Tension is personal, but it should be 'buttery smooth'. You can go too tight or too loose with these easily, you need to find your own sweet spot. I aim personally for some tension so if you hit it, it doesn't fly to the other side all the way and rebound back a bit, but not too much so it can still fly half the fader length or so when you flick it.
do you have to adjust the curv on the device. or will it still work through the mixer

So how different is the cut after the install?
I don't understand why you put in an INNOFADER PNP when it the z2 already comes with the mini innofader which is perfect already.
***** I don't need to do research on the Innofader. I bought my Innofader from the very first batch of innofaders 4 years ago and put it into my Audio Innovate AEM 100 replacing the PRO X FADE. Then bought the TTM57 bracket and put into that. Doesn't the innofader mini have tension adjust ? It Just doesn't seem like that great of a cost < benifit addition since the innofader mini is super sharp to begin with and I'm sure it has contour adjustment.

Mini innofader is trash. Mine bled then when I cleaned it and recalibrated it I got a cut in point of 4mm.. unacceptable

This comes with three MINI-Innofaders that do not have all of the same features as the Innofader PNP which was installed. You can see the size difference in the faders when I remove them. The PNP fader gives the option to manually adjust the curve, the cut-in, and the Tension (tightness) feel of the fader while the Mini alters curve and cut in in different increments and doesn't have the tightness function at all...
But are they good at least? It is that it me comes tomorrow. To fuck...

+Lawrence Fernandes You can use Mini-Innofaders, but its not easy to change them out yourself. There is a DIY on how to do it somewhere on the internet though...
Yeah I did follow it and manged to get my faders working for some time but I guess they are worn out now ... got to change them or buy a new controller

Cleaned and recalibrated my mini innofader. And after multiple recalibrations I still have 4mm cut in.. useless for scratching
Any body can help i have z2 and just got pnp crossfader but the pins dont line up on the connectors
