I lost my best friend and companion on April 14, 2022. I borrowed from his joy and precious life to live my own. I’m hurting so much. Thank you for making these videos.
I lost my Rudy just a month ago and I am heartbroken. He was a Biewer Yorkie, a gentle soul, the most wonderful dog. and he was perfect for me. I love your poems and find them truly comforting. Thank you.
My 2 little Shih Tzu's Bandit & Bingo come to visit me every now and then, I can smell them. They were the best friends and companions I ever had in my life. See you at Rainbow Bridge my friends. 🙂
I've been a musician since I was 10 yrs old. Percussion was my soul instrument throughout my years although guitar and piano were always my minor instruments. I'm in my senior years now and still playing, but not for a living like I once did. It's 4 am and I came across your poem and I subscribed to your web site because the poem you just read was really nice and heart warming. I've raised dogs all my years of being married for 48 years. I would hope you don't mind but my intentions are to put these poems to music. The reason is because I can write songs but I feel my weakness was always writing words for the songs I would arrange and put together. After coming across your poem; It inspired me to put it to music. This will keep me happy and busy during my retirement years. So I thank you for the inspiration to do this. No one will here these melodies except family . My days of recording studios and making albums with the many bands I've played with are over. I don't know why I even wrote this comment but I just wanted you to know that someone out here likes what you've read and admires you also for how you read them. God Bless !
@@thepetcemetery I'm getting a Cocker Spaniel pup in two weeks, and we are also taking in a rescue...it's what Molly would have wanted. I'm so happy, I can't wait to meet them! I can't tell you how many times I've listened to you, John, reciting this poem. I just wanted to thank you again for helping to heal my broken heart. Don S, Lowell MA, USA
You won’t! I still constantly think of my first rabbit who was with me a year. Even more of my rabbit of 10 yrs. And still talking of them and carry pic of the the second one in my wallet (of her and my dog snuggling on the bed) And I know I will never stop thinking and talking of my dog. She’s 15 and in the next we may have to part. She’ll always be with me.
Hell, I think of and mourn for my foster boy, who was adopted and I just have no idea of the who/what/where etc. I had him 3 yrs and really want to keep but financially couldn’t.
Beautiful ❤

Thanks for sharing, our pets are a great source of comfort to us in life, the grief of their loss is a small price to pay.
