I loved this! I've always loved the original story and seeing a remastered version of it is wonderful! Great choice of narrator too, Smudger has always been one of my favourite narrators in the community! :)
Quite the treat its been with back to back remasters! The updated models, particularly the autocoaches certainly aid the visuals a lot. Having them with expressive Annie & Clarabel-esque faces (and the nameplates is a lovely touch) really brings them to life a lot more than a faceless item does. Once more a very well done piece of work :)
I think it would been an interesting twist, is when Mr Clark leaped forward and Daisy shut her eyes, they don't notice Mr Clark appear in Daisy's Cab as revenge for her comments. Which could lean towards a follow-up of the story.
I believe the narration eas too fast paced. The original which is onlg 4 minutes longer had a slower but elegnat narration and everything was eased into. This feels like someone is trying to get the story done asfsst ss possible. If it were me with these remasters i would just put old narration over new graphics but then i guess that wouldnt be trting then or something. But hey thats just my opinion
@@PennsyPappas That someone would be me. But, you do make a valid critique. I've had a few issues in the past with pacing. A stunning remaster, really like the use of an autocoach getting the main role of the story, makes a change from engines at times but it includes a new flavour. I find the auto coaches to be rather underrated in the fandom.
Not only was this beautiful video narrated by ShunterProductions, it completely perfected storytelling. I love how well Daisy was written, probably the best way to use Daisy in a story. Such a wonderful job making this masterpiece. Good job to everyone who worked on this!
i have been waiting for this moment, even though it took some time, but at least the remastered video was great and you did a nice job on it. you deserve some respect from me and your friends.
I think what I especially love about these ghost stories is how the set up/exposition really doesn’t give away that it’s a ghost story. If not for the title (and the obvious fact that I watched the original years ago XD) I would not have been able to tell this was a ghost story right away. It’s implemented subtly, yet not completely out of nowhere, absolutely tip top writing from dcg! A real underrated talent!
I've definitely wanted to mention that I personally just suddenly came up with the idea of officially SIMPLY buildin' a new generation of GWR 14xx 0-4-2 tank engines with official American origin-styled automatic couplers as those are basically regulations on American railroads, and especially wanted to also apparently mention that I personally just suddenly came up with another idea of officially SIMPLY buildin' a new generation of GWR Auto Coaches with the exact same official American origin-styled automatic couplers to absolutely incredibly be able to SIMPLY couple/uncouple from the locomotive very easily!
This was a really lovely remake. The original was great too, but the video itself was at times hard to see. This new version is much cleaner with better visuals.
I've especially wanted to mention that I personally also apparently for another fact had definitely decided to paint the new generation of GWR 14xx 0-4-2 tank engines as well as the new generation of GWR Auto Coaches in official Great Western Railway colors along with the new generation of GWR 5700 class pannier tank engines to kindly 100% BASICALLY represent the official Great Western Railway heritage!
Loving all these remakes you're doing So far!! These Spookier stories were always my Favourites and the Model/Animations look Fantastic as always!! Can't wait to see which one you do next!! if any. (Personally, I hope you do Bear and Old Dean Morris -w-)
I seriously do actually love to point out that I personally just suddenly came up with the officially well-knowingly clever idea of completely giving each of the Great Western Railway auto coaches known as Isabel alongside Dulce alongside Alice alongside Maribel who actually were mentioned in the officially well-known Railway Series book titled Enterprising Engines their own official separate female voices to help tell each of 'em apart very shockingly surprisingly easily with no complete trouble whatsoever! By the way, it's basically quite clear to me that I personally just suddenly realized that Daisy the diesel railcar certainly happened to basically helped Dulice get rid of Mr. Clarke's ghost AFTER many years of terrior including following the officially well-knowingly observation of nationalization of the U K's railway system!
Nice to see the coaches have their own faces and models rather than just generic auto coaches. I always found that jarring whenever they’ve been in someones stories
What the heck! I was just watching the original version an hour ago! Duck’s model looks odd without his sandboxes, but other than that great remake! I love how the auto coaches have faces now like in the RWS.
@@ShunterProductions oh man really? That’s one of my favourite that you’ve done, particularly the scene as James leaves the station, the incorporation of haunted Henry leading into darkness is coming is so eerie! Either way loving these remakes man keep up the awesome work 😁

Daisy really has shown here that she can be a caring and protective friend. I love how the Little Western Auto Coaches finally have models that have faces! Did you make those models?
I love the idea of Daisy being Sodor's greatest ghostbuster. It's something I never saw coming, but it adds some great hidden depths to the character.
I can picture Edward, Salty, and Rusty being a part of that group.
