    I feel this too!! Im 6 years out from my thyroidectomy and I still have weeks where I feel horrible, trying to work full time and trying to explain my issues with others is so difficult. I jave weeks I sleep 15 hours to 20 hours and still feel like I'm drained. I'm moody anxious depressed, it took me years to find a doctor who would listen to me and not keep trying to force anti depressants on me!! I know some people do need them and it helps, but for me this is my new normal. I'm so glad I'm not alone

      I'm sorry you have been feeling like this. The fatigue and migraines really catch me off guard at times. I'll be feeling great then have to spend the day in bed! I hope you are feeling well.

    Thank you so much for sharing this! I am 2 years since my thyroid surgery from having severe graves disease also. And I feel like this on and off. I often feel so so guilty for not being able to function the way I want to. But I'm so glad that this seams to be a normal on-and-off thing with someone with this condition. It makes me feel so much better for taking the time off that I need to try and get better.

    I have Hyperthyroidism. I hate when my body feels like a powerhouse for about a month. I get a great streak of energy, and then I crash, and it’s sucks so much. I feel ya girly :(

    Thank you for sharing this. This last month I fell into the same fog of horribleness. It was one of the worst ones since my thyroidectomy and rai treatment in 2010. I felt like I was NEVER going to feel better. My husband had to drive me to the doctor since I couldn’t drive because my eyes were so heavy and my fatigue was uncontrollable and I didn’t trust my reaction time driving. In the past I’ve had maybe a day or two like this or even go months feeling “normal”, but this was never ending! Then, all of a sudden I woke up last week and the heaviness was gone, fatigue gone, mind back, jaw pain, bloating, muscle aches gone...poof! It’s hard not to wake up everyday and not worry that that feeling is back again. It’s nice to know I’m not alone. It’s hard to explain this to people who have never felt it. They just think I’m depressed or didn’t sleep enough! Ugh! No! THIS is different! Thank you for sharing!

    Sounds like adrenal fatigue. Those lacking their thyroid are more prone to adrenal fatigue. I take methyl B12, high dose D3 gels, EPA-DHA Omega 3s, and magnesium taurate. I was born without a thyroid gland and have had to figure out what works for me, like you are doing for yourself.

    • @michaeldavidson5729

      Same here. The fatigue has been hitting me hard lately so I am going to try your supplements to see if it helps. :)

      I haven’t been taking the best care of myself diet wise. I lost my thyroid at 14 by having it eradicated with radio active iodine, as I had a very very severe case of Graves’ disease at 8 years old. I had Levothyroxine/Synthroid since the removal and I’m 28. I’ve never dived deep enough into this when I know I need to be… It’s been pretty regulated on its own through my younger years but it’s catching up to me. I feel like my body is completely derailing and wilting away. What B12 supplements do you recommend? Like all the stuff you mentioned what would you say is most effective? I know that I can’t take any of that until about 4 hours after my meds. I feel lost.

    I got my thyroidectomy almost a year back. I was doing pretty well but recently my tsh has gone to 19, increased. I always feel tired, my endocronologist has increased my dose but I still feel tired all the time. I am heading towards depression. These doctors are useless. We have to figure things on our own.

    I have the glands just not a thyroid. My main thing is my weight. I dont get sick or feel weak. But I get leg cramps once in a blue moon. I have started eating better and going to the gym doing cardio. I never feel the tired part but can't fall asleep for anything. Other than that I haven't took my synthroid medication in over 10 years. Hitting 31 in September.

    • @DiamondCoco7
      @DiamondCoco7 6 днів тому

      Your doctor is ridiculous! DONT REMOVE A VITAL BODY PART for ONLY having nodules!
      99.999% of nodules are benign and usually means you need more iodine and just need to help your methylation and detox pathways with castor oil packs on the thyroid and liver and liver cleanses Among a few other things you can do.
      I was bullied into taking out a PERFECTLY healthy and function thing thyroid for a benign 3 cm module in the right lobe when I was fully against it, and I regret it EVERY day.
      OUR BODIES ARE CREATED TO HEAL. just give if the right environment. Stupid doctors 😢
