- The Trading Card Lobby is a live talkshow with rotating guests, and I was invited to be part of their first episode in which we discussed Modern Horizons 3!
From Emrakul to the new transforming planeswalkers Ajani and Tamiyo, we also took a close look at the art and flavor of the reprinted fetch lands, and speculated on what else might appear in this set slated to drop later this year.
So come hang out with me and the rest of the panel as we offer insight to the story, the Modern meta, and even touch on how Horizons will impact everyone's favorite 100 card format: Commander!

Probably was mentioned in the chat, but since Ryan mentioned--Field of the Dead would be a good reason to split Wastes/Snow-Covered Wastes in a colorless eldrazi deck

The art for the bloodstained mire definitely looks like mirrodin/new phyrexian, you can clearly see the red sun setting behind it, and the foreground objects are metallic and look like they're dripping oil.
Flooded Strand: Eldraine
Polluted Delta: Kamigawa
Bloodstained Mire: New Phyrexia
Wooded Foothills: Kaldheim
Windswept Heath: Ixalan
Zhulodok is a spawn of ulamog that was more tied to the vampires, not another titan. I'm think there's gonna be something similar for kozilek though.

11:55 people dismissing the madness discount is why it will be a strong card. hard to remove hard to deal with 12/12 beater with evasion is strong.
I have an eldrazi deck and there aren't really any colorless + snow stuff. Theres a few artifacts, especially from ice age and coldsnap, but nothing that id say fits into the deck. Im anticipating colorless snow synergy now tho

Madness is like technically Flash right? or things and actions can cause the madness to trigger
Yes, if you discard a card with Madness, you get the opportunity to cast it for the madness cost, right then. This allows you to play creatures like this new Emrakul "at instant speed," provided you had a way to discard it at that time.
