Yes! I’ll put together the full QuickRip vid over the weekend and it will show the lotus wheel more in action. My hue lighting for that vid is a bit off as my router/wifi failed this week and I couldn’t change the light settings on the play bars! I wonder if I overdrove the wifi with the ambient light setup/timelapse?! 😅
That’s really nice to hear Alex, thanks so much! As you know vid production takes a lot of research and time but have had a lot of fun so far with it. Appreciate the positive feedback.😀
The hue stuff looks pretty cool. I have kept my system fairly standard as i don't think it could cope with too much going on tbh. I have always enjoyed racing games as well as other video games but it was 2018 when i bought project cars 2 on console when i realised that sim racing was an actual hobby in itself.
Kev ya I find I only use the hue occasionally for specific races where I really want some extra immersion. Cool re your history in sim racing! Same sort of thing for me, I think I started following a few sim racing channels back as far as 2007 though! Just never had the cash to be able to get into until I was older. 🙂
@@kevin_m I had Revs for the BBC micro in the mid eighties and my Dad built me a home made wheel for it using an old wheel from a car scrap yard, some potentiometers and a homemade metal dash board. Was pretty unique back then!
@@kevbarber oh man if you have pics share them on the discord! In 2009 I spotted my parents neighbor hauling the passenger seat out of an old Dodge beater that was in the back yard and he told me it was for a 'sim rig' he was building... I tried it when he got it completed and I was hooked!
Thanks for the shout out Kevin! I just got a bill from the armco company :(
The nerve of those guys!!! Don't they know you were only doing them a service safety testing the course!? Some people eh?
Great video. The rig looks amazing & the wheel makes it's debut appearance 😍

Hey I’m glad the HUE light video helped you out! Very nice video you’ve made and great production quality. Subbed 👍

@@kevin_m no problem at all you’re doing a great job! Especially your speech/talking you definitely have a knack for it 👍
