Gorgeous bike love this bike. I have a 929RR with 12 thousand miles on the clock it's 22 years old I love the older bikes much better built better look better just all the way around the colors was better.
Had one in 92 , totally original and standard , then had to sell it due to starting a family. God I miss that bike even to this day , wish I'd of kept it , garaged and put away as it is a classic, period .
lovely condition man, i had this in 92 for 4 yrs, then i sold it for 5k, just before they dropped real cheap, got a tl1000r after but it never lived up to the fireblade. Cant believe they are 25yrs old and still look current or in nepal where i live now at least. Have a duke 390 now, nice but anything like a fireblade is too much for these dirttrack roads and chaotic traffic with zero rules followed etc.
That bike is AMAZING! Quick question though, are the shocks rebuilt? Or does it just ride like a 30 year old bike with original shocks? In all seriousness, I've been wanting one of these, but I was curious about how to resolve the issues these have with worn-out shocks. Can these be retrofitted with a shock for a newer honda? Or are there any good universal shocks? Obviously, something that won't break the bank, though.
Front forks can be rebuilt. You can use a different weight fork oil. Back in the day when these were new, you could put in different springs too. Shop for different fork springs, I don't know how many of those are available. There is only one "shock" and that is in the back. Shop for a rear shock and see what comes up.

Lovely but not quite totally standard! Back sprocket is non standard o/e 😉 other than that it’s missing a tank decal , saying unleaded only . Lovely ☺️

The headlamps have evolved, the number of holes, the shape of the fairing, etc.... but still that 1 big bolt !
