No Maffew or Jack on next weeks podcast?! If someone from Cultaholic is reading this, we want next weeks podcast with Ross and 2 other presenters drinking during the podcast, in honour of the 6 month anniversary of the 7 hour Wrestlemania drunken spectacular! 😂😂😂
Weekly reminder that Jack is a coward.
What have I missed?
@@stevenlannister184 Italian restaurant
It helped wwe more
If Giulia isn't introduced as ghoulier for Halloween havoc my faith in wrestling will be gone forever
Ross on Star Wars is truly amazing
Bi-weekly rant to say thanks again guys for keeping me company on these long drives to pick up my kids. This one's exceptionally long because we just got devastated by the hurricane and I'm driving up to Tallahassee to make sure that everyone's okay. 3 hours up and 3 hours back.
Hope everyone's ok, man!
I find it amazing that someone like would listen to 3 Georgie (or whatever they are or aren’t) talk about wrestling. It’s great. Good luck with the drive!
This the opposite of a rant but that's good
Well, the Vince documentary was more of a success than that time “Hollywood” Jack the Jobber tried to do the Italian restaurant laptop date/punishment on the pod
Edit: can’t believe 3/4 hated the cinema that was Cody/Roman face off, I’m with Maffew I loved it
I think it was a success from the standpoint that it is a fantastically made docuseries, but unless you don't know anything about WWE, then you learned nothing new. All of the stuff I saw I have known about for years. So i think it was successful to an extent
Was Pacitti voice in the 6th episode ?
It was; popped when I heard it
Up the pod! Really looking forward to the NXT segment :)
Engagement for the algorithm
Waiting for Ross to celebrate Def rebel out the door
Up the fellas. Now it's the weekend
I wholeheartedly agree with Ross's stance on mint-flavoured things.
the noise that Ross made after seeing the Shane picture is my official joke of the video.
It really changed nothing for me that documentary was weak I waited 5 and a half episodes for something new
I'm three episode in. As someone who went in without much expectation I've enjoyed it, but most of it was stuff I'm familiar with. Your casual wrestling audience who have a Netflix account will probably enjoy it more.
Felt like a waste of time. My wife liked WWF when we were younger and she lost interest after the second episode. I didn't learn anything new.
Ross vs his water bottle is my MOTY.
Fight forever 👏👏👏👏👏
Im glad theyre noticing how selfish Rey is. Rey is the learning tree of WWE
No, Ross, she does not say the dad is absent. She says there was no dad. Virgin birth, yo.
For WWE it was a success, for everyone else who wanted Vince McMahon to be brought into the light it was a waste of time.
If Tom Ross and Adam are doing next weeks podcast we might finally break 10 hours!!!!
Exciting
I missed you Ross
I’m going to assume that by now Maffew has seen the twitter thread of Moo Deng edited into finishers and is reevaluating his choices.
Niche but it's really funny to me that Jack made that "Simon Filler" joke and this week Phil filled in for Simon on ups and downs. Kinda crazy lmao
Wait wait hold on…. As someone that isn’t from the UK we have all been told people from the UK have bad dental hygiene. But Ross has only now got his first cavity. 🤯🤯
Ross was so funny this episode I can’t breathe omg
Remembering SGW is on this year's Wall Of Fame after the shady shit that came out almost immediately after...
These lads pretending not to know that Bayley's behind is a huge (pun not intended) cultural icon that breaks the internet on a regular basis, and acting like it's unusual that Adam likes it
10:20 jesus, off to a great start here Ross lmao.
23:15
Jack Italian restaurant.
Absolutely loved the rugby story and its fallout. Great podcast this week.
I have to say, when I heard Adam’s voice in the last episode of the Vince Doc I popped
Could’ve sworn I also heard Adam for a split second in the first episode.
Jack: I don't want to throw Tom under the bus
Also jack: *immediately says calling all the picks Ross' was Tom's idea, despite it being Maffew's idea.*
I'm looking forward to watching it. My partner doesn't watch wrestling so it will be Interesting to see what she thinks of it
Next week should feature Adam Ross and Tom. That would truly be the NXT episode of the podcast.
At 3:11:11 when the demon appears and ross screams, you can actually hear the laughter that maff mentions
What the fuck, Mic the Snare shoutout?! Hell yeah! Didn’t expect that.
Ok so my opinion on the doc, as a person who has an “on and off” relationship with wrestling. I didn’t watch it as a kid, but got into it as a late teen. In the past 5 years I’ve been only watching big shows or watching Cultaholic to keep up with the news.
So my opinion on the doc was really positive.
I was aware of a lot of the stories (through Cultaholic’s entire history of video and the podcast) but really enjoyed the interviews and perspectives in it.
Stand outs to me was how Bret came across really well. How rude Vince was about Bret, and how Vince was dismissive about so many people. Hearing the undertaker say he’d take a bullet for Vince was a shock. How much people saw Vince as a father figure makes me understand the culture around Wrestling more. Like how issues with abuse would occur because of how tight knit people are.
How much everyone wanted to impress Vince, it seemed ridiculous that these are grown adults desperate for the attention of the boss.
Overall, Vince came across very unlikeable, and truly only cared about sex, his business and money.
But the doc was really good, from my perspective, because it gave context to things I had vague ideas about, gave insight from people I’d not heard from before, and reminded me that Vince not a nice person. 😂
Why are you guys trusting the words of Shoemaker in the docuseries? That guy is NOT a historian!
people need to know were the marks.. but to the public McMahon doc il be eye-opener and now know he's a horrible man ..then just a gimmick
Jack should have had Chef Larry from punks ig story as his hall of fame.
SNK is AEW to Capcom's WWE.
WWE on netflix should be interesting
Shucky Ducky Quack Quack🐣🐥🐤
Goat podcast
Here for Ross' HoF results
JACK! JACK! WTF MAN!!
up the lads!!
Woooooo wooo wooo woooooo
3:53:28. :)
Jack has gone full heel. Hating the Costco guys, but being a fan of the hawk tuah girl? Don’t think i can support the jobber anymore :(
the Jobber and Gobber connection
This doc was more for the casual fans All y’all complaining and saying it wasn’t good are diehard wwe fans and y’all know about everything in regards to this stuff That is why this doc is more for casuals which is what Netflix is for Attracting to the casual fans so y’all gotta understand what else do you think they were gonna say
Vinnie mac is still the greatest heel of all time
Hope he comes back to wwe
First
Well done.
Too soon for this. Like it's really only 3 days in and you already wanna know if it's successful.
Damn a podcast out the day after the recording is mad impressive mates
it wasn't the Doc i expected i thought it would be about Vince,, shots of him at home, getting ready to leave for the office or the road, shots on his Jet, behind the scenes of a Raw, maybe a production meeting or two, him at Gorilla, what he does in his little off time, WWE did a better job with the 2006 McMahon DVD
If WWE didn't use nice lenses nowadays, no one would be calling it cinema
Don't let them fool you, I say, "Hell yeah" when I couldn't give a fuck less.
A nice mobster? Could it be that he is a "Goodfella?"
Hawk poo-ah, shit on that thang
4 hours is way too fucking long for a podcast.
Shh
Incredibly dodgy opinion
