As one of the older sisters, I can empathize with anyone who has been lied to, catfished, or scammed. People are crazy and they will lie to get ahead. However, what limited my empathy for Reesa was that in the end, she went farther than ignoring red flags. She became complicit with the lies until she couldn’t benefit no longer. It was almost like she consented to the trauma she experienced. Ladies, don’t sell your soul for the promise of a house and BMW.
I felt so bad for her, stories like this really scare me & when she said “ I thought it was my turn” made me cry for her, I hope she finds a good man. People need to remember this was during the pandemic and also during the height of KS it must’ve been extremely difficult to be an older woman during that era, we as younger women felt the pressure I can’t imagine what it felt like for women who were the demographic he was tearing apart. I’m glad she got out
