I think elephent riding is not bad. We indian people use elephent as domestic animal way before 500 BCE (2500 years) in maurya period. So we are losing our beauty and tradition of domestic elephent. Those are thinking elephant is secure in jungle let me told you that india has only left 27000 elephent it's already in endangered species list and elephent is still get killed by preachers and there is continuously conflict between farmers who's land near jungle and elephents. We did the same things to cow and donkey now they on street. Atleast those are domesticated keep them domestic. I think it's not bad to domesticated elephent but we should treat them with love.

If any temple or Pvt person is taking care of elephants , he has to use elephants in economic activity otherwise how will he provide them food?
