So many Galaxy S20 Plus owners have been complaining about display issues randomnly affecting their flagship phones since the Feb 2022 update - Samsung so far has turned a deaf ear and is refusing to acknowledge or fix these issues

Hi Ash , Even i faced the same issue . This started by January. Exactly after one year and 3 month after i bought it . I have contacted Samsung for next 3 months. They have pushed me here and there to all services center multiple times . I have showed them multiple proof, mailed to Samsung ceo team . They asked me that they want to dismantle my mobile to check look and corner. If no issues found they said they will do replacement. I accepted and submitted my mobile. They have dismantled my mobile in front of my eyes and checked everything and the services center team gave a chartsheet that there was not even a single scratch in mobile. After proving everything the ceo team said I haven't used my mobile properly , i would have given more pressure like that . I just fought till end none replied properly and they stood on their statement. I tried to reach some higher official but i couldn't. Wherever i go it ends by Samsung ceo team and i get same response to replace mobile at a cost of 16000 . Though i had all proof and i couldn't do any more . I was pushed to a situation to change the display for 16000 and even for that they gave only 3 month Warrenty for display. That was really a bad experience from Samsung side . I even tried to put case on them but my advocate advised that this wont stay and we are out of warranty. And this will cost more than 16000 in the end . There are 1000's of helpless Samsung user outside. It was good that you have addressed this . Thanks Ash .

I having smasung m51 . The display seems to be like lcd display after the Android 12 update I have visited them they said the display is perfect might be some software issue they said to reboot it and I have done it for more than 10 time but the issue is not solved. Help bro

Samsung M31s, M31 had motherboard problems after a regular update last year. Samsung blamed the users and asked Rs.8k for replacement. A lot of user's faced this and even discussed this issue in community. None of the UA-cam Tech reviewers spoke about it. So only of it is a Flagship phone, reviewers will speak about it.

I faced this problem in my wife's S20plus in November 2021. Fortunately it was just before the warranty was about to expire. When searched about this, i came to know from the forums that a lot of people are facing this issue in other countries too. Recently in May 2022 my friend's S20plus got the same issue but they asked him to pay 17k but he shouted at them mentioning the problem is with Samsung and a lot of others are facing this situation. Finally, they came to an understanding that he has to pay 6k instead of 17k.

@Mohammed Faraz that's good to know. Samsung tried to refuse the problem as their's or it's due to the software update. They tried all sort of tactics and do the blame game and shifted blame to him, he shouted at them for this sort to treatment and then they budged at last. It was horrendous for him to even go through such treatment from them, even after buying their flagship.
Bro I am also facing the issue, will they reduce the cost for the display in the samsung service centre? or will they charge 18k for the display? please suggest
@@asrx4663 only if you sternly stand at your point that this is an issue caused by the software, they will budge, or else they'll try to charge you 17+k for the change of display and battery.
Note: Battery will have to be changed with the display as per Samsung service instructions.

My m51 yellow tint problem start after one year
It's not just on S20 phones; I faced the same problem with my previous Note series phones. The first screen turned to yellow, and afterwards, a green vertical line came from nowhere and vanished for a few days. This thing occurs regularly. I stopped buying Samsung phones after this.

m30 warranty முடியும் நேரத்தில் அப்டேட் கேட்டு கொண்டே இருந்தது பிறகு அப்டேட் செய்தேன் சில நாட்களில் டிஸ்ப்ளே கோடு glitters வந்தது உடனே சென்று warranty மாற்றி விட்டேன். எனக்கும் டவுட்டு தான்.

And my Dad's M51 also having issues with mic after the latest update.

Thank you Ash bro, i approached samsung service center by April for the fist time with this issue in display. not even a single scratch in my device they saw all of that and said i may have gave pressure to device so that internal damage may happened so u have to replace it by yourself samsung cannot do anything event if it is IN WARRANTY, i came out and mailed samsung and spoke to samsung team even they said the same thing. im facing this issue with samsung since S7 edge, S6 Edge plus. i waited for sometime with the same display issue i started using for 2 months. literally i was waiting yarachu intha issue eh samsung eh reach panni oru solution kedaikatha nu waited. then came a video by C4E tech by you i was so happy that u made it. i have been following C4E tech from 2019 really u have made a huge impact in tech world and made samsung to react on this issue... ill say its only because of you... now my display is getting ready by samsung at free of cost... once again a huge salute and thanks Ash bro..... each and every video of yours is unique in content. keep doing the good work bro. we always support you.

Super. Had this issue b4 1y exactly. Bought s20+ on launch date and after 13 months hit this issue. Did all my level best and only AndroidPolice reported it at that time with no fix. Changed my display for 15k and sold it for 30k.

Bro.. I also own a S20+ and got a pink line recently. After tweeting it to you, I was asked to submit my phone to the service center and contact the specific customer service person again. Till now, I have not received any update regarding this. I mailed them multiple times, tried to call them but always the line is not available. They are not accepting that this issue exits. They are saying that they have never received a complaint like this before. Trusted Samsung to be in android space, but this type of customer service is worst. BTW Thanks for highlighting the issue bro..
