I also have many people in my team that doesn’t speak up in our retro calls… and thanks to this video I’ve got some ideas of what I can do to get some feedback from my team! Great video, thanks very much! 🚀
@NiteshSingh-bv9lu It's one of the Agile estimation practices. I talk about it in my velocity video: scrummastered.com/blog/velocity-is-a-made-up-number-%f0%9f%8e%a5/
Hi Daria, First thankyou for this informational video. I'm watching your videos for few days and they are really helpful. Here is a quick question. I've joined a scrum team but I'm facing a situation sometime my team members don't have any tasks to do. How should I deal with this situation. We're working on an app. So, how should I deal with this situation, that everyone have something to do daily.
I guess the team is failing in over- utilizing story points. I would suggest to go back to the scrum framework as is and rebuild from there. Scrum ist reactive (inspects and adapts); using story points this way is making your team to base in prediction. Story points shall be used to look back, then learn and not to accommodate the future
Since in SAFe System Demo you demo features that means that not all teams have something to demo each sprint since a Feature may take 2 or more sprints to complete
Taking the PMP in a week and this sounds so much like many of the questions, it's uncanny -almost as though this happens so much that the test has to drill it into our heads that if a PO isn't prioritizing properly, the PM may need to go over their role as PO and ensure that they are not over/under committing, etc. :D
I hope this video was helpful.
