@@andrespedriques2 Two dragon pods will flinch him. I put one into him as a safety measure in case I need to pod him to get out of trouble or set up for a wall bang.
Just as the monster is about to hit you, you foresight. If the return poke hits the monster you can then press R2 to gain a charge level. Charge levels can only be gained if the foresight was a successful evade of an attack. This even includes things like monster roars.
