The same could be said for how only one Sherman in game has a smoke grenade launcher. Gaijin just ignores historical details on a whim.

You forgot to mention that it gets no smoke and APCR. The former is oftentimes useful and the latter is needed against a bunch of American heavies, otherwise you can't pen their turrets. It's only a sidegrade.
You can play without smoke, whole USA tech tree is like that until 8.7 , APCR is the most useless round, especially since in the tiger your have the Pzgr round
You are not E-sport ready if you take more then one type of shell >:o

T-32 heavy tank with APCR would one shot things. That's especially nice seeing how it's mostly proof to long 88 from the front.
Same with M36.
It's the lower caliber APCR that was more of a crapshoot. No idea how it's now but you can get a good idea by simply using the armor tester probably.

Hungarian vehicle folded into the Italian tech tree. Gaijin is based in Hungary and thus knows these things.

The track armor doesn’t make it anymore broken angled, you’ll normally not pen the damn thing at an angle anyways, and if you could, above tracks… Just shoot there to spare your sanity… And the Tigris having track armor only makes it easier for the dumb ass P2Ws thinking oh wow i don’t need to angle or that they don’t need to angle as much, that’s partially true, but having fought it, not hard to kill
