These guys took the time and energy to do this song justice....well done guys
Brilliant song, treated with great respect. Thanks, guys. Jack would be proud.
Such a well written song.. executed perfectly.
The three are back together again: Felix Papalardi, Jack Bruce, and Leslie West. I'm sure they are jamming once again. Rest in peace guys and thank you for all the good memories.
Brilliant version of a classic.
I’m old enough to say that I saw Mountain at the Filmore East and instantly became a fan. Thanks for the rendition.
Thank You for keeping the Music Playing of this Great 👍 Song RIP Felix, Jack, & Leslie
I've got goosebumps. I was there for the Night of the Guitars tour when Leslie West played this. Love it.
Wow! Just wow! My new favorite interpretation! Timeless, fellas. Just fuckin’ A timeless. Especially love the Thin Lizzy vibes. Keep the torch passing!
Thank you!
Marvelous cover of this great title that I love 🤩😍... Every instrument is just perfect 😎... Congratulations 👏, I add a big blue thumb 👍😃😀. From a guitarist 🎸 from France 😉🇨🇵.
One of my first LP's that I bought in 1971 at the age of 13 was by Mountain. I bought the LP to get Mississippi Queen and this song. Mountain is still one of my favorite classic rock bands, Love this cover.
I so envy anyone who can find enough MUSICALLY INTELLIGENT people to get together with
Brilliant version! Well done guys 👍👍👍
God bless Lesle West
I like the grungy approach to this epic song. Thanks
Thanks guys for a fantastic cover of one of my favorite songs. You did Jack, Leslie, and Felix proud!
Fantastic!
This song has some kind of magic that emanates from it. Pink Floyd was my Dad’s favorite band who passed away when I was 6. I wore a Pink Floyd shirt to the doctors office one day when I was 11 and he told me to listen to this song and this album. So thankful for this music and the people who lead me in its direction. Mountain is a band who express their souls through their instruments
Excellent!
Curious to see if there were covers of this. Surprised that a few reaching close to a million views were rediculous... PLEASANTLY SURPRIZED by you INTERPRETATION. BRILLIANT. Redford, MI
Great version of the old Jack Bruce number, see you guys at Kinross on Friday, would love to hear you play this at the gig.
Absolutely fabulous guys. Such artistry, such emotion, such musicianship. Brought a tear to my eye.
Nice! 🙏👍👍🇺🇸
Got to say guys this sounds killer! Can't wait for the Stockton gig.........
Graham Tucker see you there mate!
Tough to create a worth while interpretation following Mountains signature cover, but you gentleman have done the song proud in your own way. Well done.
Still great!
what a great cover, totally excellent.
Wonderful. Must go and see this band!
Very nice version . Jack Bruce presented it to Cream and both
Eric and Ginger rejected it. Fools . Jack's version on Songs For
A Tailor is mostly piano . Great Jack singing . Mountain's
version with guitar solos is great . Goodbye Leslie West .
Wow! As always gents nothing but perfection!
Hi ! Sounds like you've cracked it . . . Extra depth and texture - Hope to catch you at The John Peel Centre/Stowmarket in October.
Best wishes with the 4 piece line up . (Jack would definitely approve, I'm sure !)
loving this new line up and wow sounds fantastic.
Love this band..... when this shit lockdown goes, i'm gonna see them.
Brilliant work
Great job fellas! One favorite tune, and hard to do respectable version as the original was so incredible. Kudos to the recordist,,,,especially the last Leslie bits,,,,,do you have a custom brake setup on the whilygig? Thanks again.
Saw you boys at the TNMC, Coulsdon yesterday - absolutely brilliant. You will go Far! Keep it up!
and still great!!!
Massive!!
Fantastic!
They should do Taunta/Nantucket Sleighride, or have they and i missed it?
Cracking stuff lads
See you next week at Coulsdon!
Sorry you couldn't make it - hope your drummer gets well soon!
Reminds me of Joe Gooch era, ten years after.
Guitarist sounded a bit like Gary Moore. Nice version.
Nice but Lesley West was my favourite version
Wow wow wow! Good stuff on one of my favorite tunes.
