I heard it's only a pre-alpha so i guess everything will improve with time and i hope so. The game seems interresting, but i'm afraid it might turns like another Dead by Daylight where players are in fact unafraid at all of the game (despite being horrific oriented) and where players are only focus on the strategy.

A good weakness for the pods would be to wait until they're probing houses. Then you come behind them and throw a well timed grenade or RPG at their back. Since you'll be inside their shield it'll do considerable damage and maybe even cripple the tripod is you atk the section where the pod connects to the legs.
The game looks great, but please stop claiming your UA-cam videos are 4K, because they're not. UA-cam doesn't support 4K (4096 x 2160). It only supports up to UHD (3820 x 2160). When UA-cam say their maximum video resolution is 4K, they're lying (either intentionally or unintentionally.)
You are wrong. 3820 x 2160 is defined as "4K" by the International Telecommunication Union, even tho it's not literally 4x1080p. Why this is the case i don't know tho, but it's not the first time a technical definition is not being literally. "4K" is a marketing word, not a mathematical term.
Looks pretty bad tbh, it's not immersive at all, npcs are terrible, animals like the wolf and bear movements are extremely robotic, physics in general are bad, in another gameplay reveal the player was running through a bush but you couldn't go through the bush because it was made of metal apparently....like wut....and this happened while the player was running from a bear, imagine dying there bc you got stuck in a bush made of metal 💀 also graphics are kinda bad for being a 2024/2025 game
Oh yeah sure, because a single developer is supposed to magically whip up, Hellblade 2 levels of graphical fidelity with the tools he has available and the funds available to him. Because that game certainly gone over big being an interactive movie rather than putting gameplay first, which this game War of the Worlds clearly does.
