I'd like to see a full "decostructing the mastering" episode! Or a full file restoration. Gj with those videos, I love them!
Really enjoying your video tutorials Dom. Keep it up pls!
Thank you very much for this useful series.
Great tutorial! Thanks for sharing.
I been using adobe audition since cool edit pro days I will give this a try eventually thanks
Thanks a lot Dom, I buy my upgrade now... :-) And Happy New Year...
Hi man, just bought Zoom h1n and software codes were following, so now I'm going to learn brand new powerfull software. Thanks
Superb ☺🙂
Cool video. There are videos on how to use groove lab, but they assume you can even find it on the tool bar to open it.. we need one that starts at the beginning. VERY beginning, for people who have not used it yet.
Insane!! Wavelab is so powerful
WaveLab The Best Audio Editor... Yessssssss
hi is there a way in wavelab 10 to open a separate windows for each plugin ? which help to monitor them all at the same time ? this option was possible in wavelab5 but in version 10 i couldn't fined this option ... thank for your time
Dom,
Is there a tutorial for mixing? I am new but my volumes are all over the place even though I have my mixer sliders in the same general ranges please advise. I can't imagine that there aren't some basic rules or standards to set up projects and set levels etc.
I like it!
How do you do a simple automation of a plugin parameter?
May i ask where did you get those beautiful lights standing beside the monitor ? :)
This man’s hair is incredible
Can I still import wav, m4a and .mp3 files to Wavelab Elements?
Insane! Does the editor reach sample precision when zooming?
Does it have a reduce vocals or vocal remover function?
is there a possibility 2 create aux-channels in Wavelab 2 do parallel processing?
Please help me what botton I can click to make speed audio editing?
Hey guys, the batch processing allow me to resample multiple files?
Hi I just downloaded the trial version of Wavelab pro to run with Cubase 10 pro and the UR44C interface.. In stand alone I can load a file which plays through the UR44c Yamaha usb driver, but when I click on a wave file in Cubase and send it to Wavelab, it plays back using a generic Asio driver which means its coming through my laptop speakers and not the UR44c. Plus there's no other driver to choose from to fix the problem... This is the second Steinberg product I've downloaded that's caused UR44C problem, the other being Symphonia orchestra I saw you play and was hoping to get like Wavelab. Now both are unattainable due to these audio issues. Any ideas ?
When it comes to the first feature (updating track w/o re-rendering) what does it let you do? Can I print fx? Compress/limit? Make DJ edits? Change tempo or BPM?
24" size monitor is recommended xD !! yes !
Can an entire orchestra be recorded? Multiple trucks or just one truck like the old version of Wav lab 3?
Really nice ^_^ I may just have to get one myself! I do everything in FL Studio, But I do like the compilation editing option. I also believe that there is a better encoder in it as well to make the tracks have not much space in the beginning for the data if I'm not mistaken. I'll take a deeper look into it tomorrow. Hopefully it doesnt run my pockets dry though xP
dear wavelab, i have wavelab LE 11, please teach me why my mp3 track is not playing sound in this.
YES
I like its true
Record from cassette decks, turntables etc. into wavelab pro 11 and clean audio files, next
You gave a great example of what it does. I liked it so much, I just subscribed to your site. Now do you have any "How To" videos on all that you just described? Now, show us how to do those things that you say it can do. I'll check your website, i'm sure you have more excellent information. Thanks.
Does Wavelab elements have a way of splitting a track into separate files? I currently use Audacity for digitizing Vinyl records and place labels with song names on the track. Audacity has a handy function to batch export (split) the track into individual files where filenames are based on the labelled markers. I tried to do something similair with a demo version of Wavelab Elements 9 some time ago but sadly couldn’t find a similair function. I would like to use Wavelab elements instead of Audacity because of ASIO support which Audcity lacks. Is there a way to do this or can this only be achieved with the pro version?
I think U can do it manually wit markers and save da sections separately. Split function, CD-Wizard, Meta-Data, etc. can do sum more tricks up 2 DDP projects but I think sum o deez functions might b Pro only.
in wavelab 10 is there an actual TIME WARP that eg WHO'S SORRY NOW by Connie Francis goes for 2'16"...some cd's have it as 2'20"...with GOLDWAVE the TIME WARP can actually save this file as 2'16"...when you write it in the box. I've only found this in GOLDWAVE, no where else...i hope that WAVELAB 10 has it or could add it in an upgrade.thanks from Greece.
i like
I like Wavelab Pro 12 a lot but performance is a problem. It is not using all available CPU cores. Izotope RX-11 Advanced Audio editor blows Wavelab Pro away in terms of performance when I need to render an effects stack on an audio track. It uses all available cores and takes about 1/8 the time to render. To work around this shortcoming in Wavelab Pro I have set up RX-11 Advanced Audio Editor as an external editor in Wavelab. So when I need to run an RX-11 effects rack on a track I just pass it to the RX-11 Advanced Editor from Wavelab Pro and then render in RX-11 and send the output back to Wavelab Pro. It adds a few steps to my workflow but it still saves me a lot of time. I would much prefer to use the RX-11 VST plugins in Wavelab but the performance penalty is simply too great.
Can I record internal audio from another source with this?
yes u can use ZOOM H4n Pro recorder and then send the audio into ur PC and then U CAN FINALLY EDIT THE AUDIO
For beginners, I was only thinking can it go any faster?😉
学习学习!
Audio CDs in 2019? Great video though!
👍
Is his hair tucked into his shirt? lmao!
This overview is nice, but it doesn't really teach you how to do these things. I spend most of my time trying to figure out what Wavelab calls things and where are they buried. Also I have Elements, so most of these videos show features not in my version of Wavelab. It is confusing and I wish Steinberg would make dedicated videos for Elements.
0:50 but isn't that destructive editing? It looks like you overwrote the original file.
videos like this assumes you know your homework for years.. but a simple task as importing an audio file and make it play is out of the question.. Luckily there is still freeware as audacity that can make JUST what you need....just by pressing "PLAY"
These functions are great, but this level of enthusiasm with the coffee cup next to the monitor controller gives me anxiety ☕
What you need sir, is a little more enthusiasm! 😏
I received the LE version with my Zoom device and the LE version has NONE of this functions. It's pretty much useless and beaten by the free audacity. Thanks for nothing.
I also received the LE version from buying one of Steinberg's interfaces. Thanks for saving me some time, I'll look for other solutions.
thank you Seth Rollins
SLOW DOWN!!!
It's like he is speaking in four different languages, none of which I speak. This is more like intermediate mastering.
Where are the Wavelab Elements videos?
I think it was clear. At least there are tutorials out for free! Wouldn't have had this some years ago.
The switch-over form BIAS PEAK Pro XT(unfortunately disontinued) to Wavelab: a nightmare! Very complicated, too many things on the screen, straight forward work is hardly possible
Whew 😥 Looks complicated .. I’ll just finish learning Pro tools with all there Errors .. See Pro tools you made me Look elsewhere 😑
If this is for beginners I would hate to see the advanced. I use audacity and I am familiar with that software, why would I want to take 4 months learning this when audacity so far does everything I need.
WaVELAB is great . You must me a salesman getting wavelab for free to push the BS. Wavelab is very picki and a terrible product to buy. Does nor play well with many Sound interface, support is horrible, you can do the same with other software if you are good with any DAW. Stay away from Steinberg. DEFINETELY not worth the money.
What about Harrison mixbuss 32CV 8.1 compared to this?
I thought you’re a Cubase user and this is your fav DAW? Looks like it’s not?
