@@sudesh6807 Hiway with moderate traffic.Actually we won't get much range in cities with bumper traffic as in my experience car consumes more energy to launch from the start , also we will be in AC on a traffic and won't expect more range , depends upon the terrain and driving style we can extrat a maximum of 250kms in my experience and it's a decent range on that price point. In between 100 to 130 watt hr/km it will provide more than 210km for sure.

although that would be great..but then the cost would be much higher...as they will have to put engine as well...that would increase the weight of car substantially (along with batteries) and decrease the range when running on electricity and decrease the mileage on petrol..so not practical ..my views..i might be wrong as well!

Either infra in India for EV has to grow up such that these sub par ranges are ok else we do need a hybrid option I am also eagerly looking forward for efficient Graphene batteries to become a reality. Then we won't have questions of weight and mileage for sure but might be something around cost
We have owned and operated a Nexon EV for some time now, and as an ex-motoring media person who was right there when the Indica was launched (which I also bought and used happily), I can only say that later today, if Tiago bookings open, I shall be amongst the first to book one. TaTa Motors gives safety and family gets confidence, that's about it, and the urge to support young Indian engineers takes pole position. I have seen how people trusted young Indian seafarers and then young Indian techies, both of which i benefitted from, so time to give back to India. The ONLY thing I want is the option to fit better tyres as an optional extra at time of purchase.

Tata EV+Tata Power + Tata Housing , Offices etc they can create a complete ecosystem which other EV makers would find it harder. I can imagine future home buyers in Urban India buying Tata Housing which will have dedicated fast charging for the TATA EVs in the garage/parking lot. Pls launch CNG versions of all Tata pv. I know many people who bought Suzukis and hyundais just because there is no CNG fitted Tata models. Nobody prefers aftermarket CNG fitment nowadays. So pls launch company fitted CNG cars from Tata asap.
CNG is also finite source that's why TATA is not interested. Also Goverment not provide any intensives on CNG Gov. CNG also imported. There already other companies option available in CNG Vehicle thats why TATA is not intrested.

350 to 400 km actual range and faster charging infrastructure on highways is what will drive their sale exponentially. I still know how many including me who canceled plans to buy the current Nexon EV due to absence of above aspects. Hoping their next gen improves upon it.

Tata nexon ev facelift should provide a large battery pack of 50-60 kw and change the exterior design of the rear and front to be little flashy and interior with bigger infotainment and big sunroof
@@SanjayKumar-gv2ph the reason for large battery pack is for the range of minimum 370km with ordinary driving conditions and no need to charge daily unless there is no road trip and we have to avoid more fast DC charging if range is increased and can continue for a longer run than the car battery warranty
We need to have similar charging plugs by manufaturers. Using standerdized charging plug with high speed charging will benefit whole EV infrastructure not only coustmer but also manufacturer.
Depends on fuel efficiency, cost of ev is Rs 1 per Km, ICE is Rs 10 per Km (Petrol 110, 11 kms fuel efficiency), hence savings is 135000, in case if diesel cost will be less at 5-6 Rs per Km, so saving will be 75k for 15k kms
With technology similar to BYD blade battery and tata motors robust built it will be unbeatable, for now BYD is ruling the roost in battery tech, we need to act on it

@@SanjayKumar-gv2ph the reason for large battery pack is for the range of minimum 370km with ordinary driving conditions and no need to charge daily unless there is no road trip and we have to avoid more fast DC charging if range is increased and can continue for a longer run than the car battery warranty

We need to have similar charging plugs by manufaturers.
Using standerdized charging plug with high speed charging will benefit whole EV infrastructure not only coustmer but also manufacturer.

But the female owners Savings calculation of 1.5lakhs seems misleading.. Around 75000 would be correct at 15000km🤔
Depends on fuel efficiency, cost of ev is Rs 1 per Km, ICE is Rs 10 per Km (Petrol 110, 11 kms fuel efficiency), hence savings is 135000, in case if diesel cost will be less at 5-6 Rs per Km, so saving will be 75k for 15k kms
I thought the same. Aunty has doubled the saving to sell TATA car😄. Biggest issue is heat. Nissan Leaf failed because of heat issue.
