The trainer is killing me. Saying the right stuff to the girls, but cannot perform as well as them. How is the horse supposed to do the dock-to-skinnny combination if he is getting him unbalanced, giving no release, staying in his mouth, and whipping him for no reason? Lauren and Boo are goals though!!
@@giannapaga5753 Actually, You are wrong. The trainer was actually giving the wrong commands, As instead of slowing down he nudged his horse into a faster canter down the hill and over the jump. To be honest i was going to comment the same thing at Paint and Dapples said but in my own words, He shouldn't have tugged on the horses mouth like that. The horse can't escape the pain like humans do, I like dressage but the placement of the horses head, Bent makes me hate dressage a bit. Also pulling and putting 2 bits in the horses mouth, Spurs. Their not great. I'm not hating i'm stating my opinion on Dressage and the Instructor.
did you see how he was ripping that horses face off toward the end i was fine with him until he started doing dangerous not so kind things i mean what people do for their entertainment its so sad
Its only the trainer that doesn't know what he is doing! I mean he is saying the right stuff to the girls, But he can't physically do what he is telling the girls xD
Our instructor was awesome and not a 'jerk' at all. He was really patient and encouraged us but wasn't pushy. Plus he had a good sense of humour which is a must for me when i'm learning. I would love to have an instructor like him all the time
for all that are interested This is a Cross Country Lesson at poplar park in Suffolk by woodbridge! The Instructor in the video is Jonjo and 4 out of the 6 horses are riding school horses!
Loving jonjo going off road closed/end of the world :) Do not understand how it doesn't bother him in the slightest! Lovely riding, nice to see Polly, Saxon and Bud out XC. xx
Evelyne's animals he really can. He is managing to control a headstrong horse down a steep slope after a hefty drop down to a big fence. I personally think he is very good, not pretty perhaps, but very practical.
I'm surprised, when it's a rider all people hate on him because "omg pooor horse", he just make a error but omg omg he should never ride or sing or whatever... but when it's a "trainer" a person with some practice and degrees, everybody find a GOOD reason to his error or injury. Wow. So, moral is, you can do what ever you want and make all error you can when you have diploma it's just. And human always cry about the life on earth... don't look further.
Emma Moseley no matter how big of a drop or fence or how headstrong a horse is etc, you should not be ripping there mouth out and bouncing on their back like a sack of potatoes. If he were to sit up and use is core and half haults to steady and balance the horse it would be much more pleasant for both horse and rider. I recon the ppl he teaches could ride a horse better than him
+Tamsin Hewitt I know right, and that's the instructor! I wouldn't pay to be taught by that kind of idiot. It's a wonder the horse's mouth didn't bleed. First he chases it down the slope way too fast and the he expects it to slow down going downhill while he's yanking it's head all over the place. Disgusting.
I'm sorry to burst your bubble but, he really can ride, he managed to keep the horse in control after a big drop, the horse is obviously not calm but, even tho he is pulling on the bit he is a very good rider and can ride, if you can't see he is a good rider, you're not
Ruby Daveron He was the one causing the horse to freak out to look like he was a good rider and could "control" a seemingly out of control horse. If you take a panicked horse to a difficult track like this just so you can show off you're an idiot. He endangered his own life and the horse's.
omg i LOVE that piebald hes soo amazing all of these horses are! xx i so wanna be there right now lol my horse doesnt do xc right now might teach him just a tiny bit frightened of some stuff :) x
Great stuff. That drop though, is that the trainer? Don't like the way he's all floppy and pulls on the horses mouth. But you are a good rider, you are balanced well :)
@@grace.1 No I think I thought they look very similar and also have a similar voice :) but also i don’t remember making this comment 8 years ago! It’s a blast from the past lol!
Nothing I saw in this video was correct, I hate to say, but their hands were too hard and they need to give more slack on the landing, so the horse's neck isn't too far in, and that can cause loss of balance and broken legs for both the riders and horses
Noelle .Ayres But how freaking bad is that trainer????? It makes me so angry! As soon as the horse lands (unbalanced) he is still yanking on the bit and the horse is expected to jump the next jump like that?? WTF
I kind of agree that the trainer could not ride but the only reason for that is probably the fact that the trainer AND horse did not warm up properly.. so I don't blame the rider OR the horse
2:16 to 2:40 I'm sooooo mad about he's a fucking horse abuser!!!!! Yanking on the mouth!! Someone needs to yank on him and whip him like he did to that poor horse!!!! Words can't explain how much pain that horse would have been in!!!:(
schleich Lover24 look bud, you may disagree with me but horses cant be trained with only kindness and i could tell that the horse wasnt agreeing with the rider but if he didnt do that the horse would have probs done it again, some horses need more dicipline than others. the rider didnt hit him for the fun of it, he hit him so he wouldnt do it again, the rider wouldnt have done anything that wasnt neccicairy
Does anyone else have a need where they need to be matched matchey! Like saddle pad, shirt and ear bone yet ( when using ). Like I need it to match or I can’t ride..😂😭🤭
I have never actually ridden at poplar but my dad did that drop.Your no longer allowed to jump it as it's fallen apart. My friend mite be competing in the BE 90
I'm not gonna lie watching this video makes me incredibly nervous, for several reasons. The chestnut and their rider were great but most of the other riders are riding pretty hard. . .not releasing on the landing, you can tell most of them are super nervous and it shows with their horses.
How could you stand there and watch that trainer pull on the horses mouth like that 🙄he certainly can't ride😡 I couldn't even watch him 😶😔I hope he gets thrown off one day😴
the trainer rides a lot like a hunter.. he's got a very hunter like attitude
Jdiane games so true

Shut the hell up, all of you uneducated people. He was on a young headstrong horse.

EXACTLY THANK YOU.
I took some lessons at your place while I was visting the AIS. That was so much fun! Love the horses.
Greetings from Germany :)
the piebald cob is absolutely cracking x
I'm not hating but the teacher and that horse scared the shit out of me 0.0
Wow, really good schooling session!!! Great jumps! Some scary! Masterful instruction AND students! Awesome horses! Lovely scenery! Great video!
i honestly think that you and boo flow so nicely in XC. really ... you were one of the best in the vid
Its only the trainer that doesn't know what he is doing! I mean he is saying the right stuff to the girls, But he can't physically do what he is telling the girls xD
BEAUTIFUL teams of horses and riders! Well done!
I love the little coloured looks like a legend of a pony :D
Boo was the best in this lesson I think x

the girl in the pink on the piebald going up those steps like a rocket haha! :) great riding from all of you

talk about pull on the horses mouth at 2:21

iRebelRider: CO Exactly, it lost it's balance and was distracted by the pain.

The piebald is a great little pony. Tackled those steps amazing well!!
They're such a mix of horses rather intresting watching them all do the same exersices (: x
Where is this? The jumps look really good!

PinkVødka agreed
that chestnut is gorgeous!
That looks like so much fun!!! Cent wait till my mares old enough to go XC :D x
Lauren you look just as good as your instructor!!!🐎😝
I looove the black and white paint!
Is the horse in the red saddle pad a thoroughbred? Looks like it :) I love seeing thoroughbreds doing eventing!
Boo is doing awesome! I think she is born to do cross country. also for you being a excellent rider:)
the girl in the pink top on the piebald is soo good!
OMG! The jump @ 2:21!!! Never EVER seen anything like that! Don't think i'd ever have the guts to jump that, its such a HUGE drop!! :o
could u plz tell me where this place is my horse would enjoy all these jumps
You're all really good rider - Boo looks lovely!! Was the guy at 2.15 your instructor?! Looks a tad scary!! (the jump, and him a little bit...)
Just wondering what breed/age that horse in the red pad is? She has the exact same comfirmation as my throughbred mare :)
wow you are all incredible riders!
You and Boo are awesome at jumping but i don't like how the Trainer is riding at 2:18
he really can ride, he managed to keep the horse in control after a big drop even tho he is pulling on the bit he is a very good rider
Süßstoff J Yeah he's not good
What's the black pony/horse with the white stripe and socks name if u don't mind me asking
my gosh thats insane and amazing!! only imaging that i could have a place like that to do xc
Geez that drop that your trainer did was huge:0 (I think he's your trainer)
Your instructor reminds me of Max from the saddle club! haha but when he was played by Brett Tucker.
Was max a horrible rider?

HOLY SHIT! was the rider at 2:15 the trainer??
I must say that Boo is the best XD she never do something wrong *-*
the instructor was just pulling on the bit and not using his seat at all!
is the pony/horse at 0:27 a cob?? he looks a lot like a pony i sometimes do dressage on for a freind who is a cob :)
was that the teacher that failed at the skinney

omg! the trainer has such heavy hands! poor horse, i didn't need yanking in the mouth all the way down the hill
