Arc's design is unbalanced to me. Maybe cause the more complex head doesn't fit the simple patterned body, but that's my opinion. Still looking forward since it's a tribute to Jack. Since you like Taguchi's directing, what do you think of X and Orb?
How about Blazar? What can u say about Blazar's suit design....rumor said it was inspired from Godzilla legendary version....because of the glowing horns and back fin like spine
I love ultraman arc design and his forms and I love the sword I really don’t have a problem how goofy it is because every ultraman uses a sword like ultraman orb he is a sword
My problem with arc is the colour. I saw on Instagram that someone editing arc colour to green. Makes me wonder why tsuburaya never try and use a different colour instead of boring plain red.
It's to prevent green screen blend-in, I think. While they technically could switch back to blue screen like they did in the Showa era, it would be a nightmare to have green and blue Ultras appear on screen at the same time
I'm not sure if I'm a fan of Arc's design. I love the head, for sure, but it feels...incomplete when paired up with such a simplistic body design. At least the armors made up for it. Considering the whole theme of Arc will be "the power of imagination", maybe Arc will have an evolved form that's more akin to something you see in the Reiwa era.
Fun fact,ultraman arc having might be just like Blazar,the ultra having one form on purpose so they can afford more kaiju suits,and also it’s no surprise taguchi decided new gen Gaia should not exist,also I have a question,what issue’s do you have with the ultraman shows?
The reason I ask is because I want to make my own ultra show,and I wanted to know everyone’s issues with the shows so I could avoid making the same mistakes
The main consistent issue I have with ultra shows is when they do the same thing over again. When I watch an Ultra series, I look for a unique experience. If they just give me something I feel like I've already gotten, I feel let down. For example, Decker killing Mother Spheresaurus is a direct rip off of Z killing Destrudos. So for your show, I'd try and make it as unique as you can, without straying too far from the source material. Blazar is a good example of this.
Arc's design is just aggressively bland to me. His head looks cool from the side, but that's about the only real thing he has going for him. He just feels like one of those bootleg toys where it's just a headswap The sword is kinda goofy, but this is the one season where I don't mind the main Ultra having a sword. You just know Arc's going to pull off that epic forced-perspective thing Tsujimoto always does with swords throughout the show
I love arc design is very cool looking ultra and I am very exciting for this show and the human host age is not that important for me the real important thing for me is human host character
The design for arc is garbage it returns to your typical ultra filled with toys and the armor are kinda fine the transformation device is cool it reminds me of the zyuohcube the sword sucks the sunglass swordgun from ghost was way better

I've never properly watched X and Orb. I've seen several episodes from them though. Both very good shows.

They have some weird rule about not making ultramen green
