I love the coffee and tea staining effect. Reminds me of projects in primary school. We burned the edges too. After all these years it's still good. Also thanks for teaching me about gesso. It's very interesting.

I would love to know a general list of things I should buy to get started. I do have some things but thought a list would help me choose some things that are necessary to do this right. If you could direct me to a list that has been made or make one yourself (in your spare time) LOL....I would love it. Love all your videos!
There are always at least one layer of backing paper to the napkins...some have two layers. It's best to take these layers off. It gives a more transparent view of the stamping under. A quick way to take the layers off is to take a piece of tape and place it on the back amd pull...it will separate from the front. If two layers of backing are on it do the tape to that layer also.

It shows in everything you make. I think it’s how you add your gesso to your projects. Simply stunning. Do you use your gesso straight out of the bottle or water it down any? Thank you for this wonderfully informative video. I never would have thought that it was possible to use a glue stick with a napkin..so much less messy than gel medium. Also, gesso adds that special touch to the project! Your work is just stunning!

Just loved this. Thank you for showing me another way to do envelopes. I tried something like this, but I used Mod Poge and I didn’t like the shiny finish. I will try my Gesso. Do you water down your Gesso for these? Love these, thank you for inspiring me. Congratulations on your year.
Very beautiful, instead of Mod Podge you can use matte medium over the top, it wont be shiny but it will seal and protect it. You can get matte medium almost anywhere, Tim Holtz makes one, but there are many more at any art store...I am a new subbie, love your work!!

I have fabulous napkins I’ve sneaked away from various gatherings and have been hoarding... stashed away, they lay waiting, hoping to be used on something wonderful. Can you please, pretty please, give a source for your glue sticks and that 3 in one glue you showed in half a blink of an eye or show a picture of them or give the official name of them so I can track them down. I love how you use just pcs of the napkin instead of plastering the whole thing down & the little crinkles in the fabric when you glue them down. I don't use gesso enough in my creations, especially on fabric & I really love the effect. TFS sweetie, anxious to see the next video. Toodles
