The comment about the joy in Spain was interesting. We just returned from three weeks in Italy, and we had nothing but warm and pleasant encounters throughout the country. And I ordered cappucino in the afternoon! :)

I actually think the opposite: I always found the Spanish much sadder and burdened by the problems than Italians.

Vivo in Bosnia e nel mio paese cambierei tutto: la politica soprattutto e anche la mentalità in generale… Ho visitato l’Italia molte volte e direi che è il paese più bello del mondo, con tutte le sue imperfezioni, che sono normali… Adoro lo stile di vivere degli italiani e loro mentalità, ospitalità, innanzitutto, e poi la natura, la storia, la cucina, la cultura, la lingua, l’architettura… Semplicemente adoro tutto dell’Italia e lì mi sento sempre come a casa 🥰

Those rules don’t apply to tourists. Plenty of places know tourists may want a cappuccino in the afternoon and a spritz in the evening. Relax.

Purtroppo questa gente che dice che non c'è niente da cambiare e che si vanta di aver girato il mondo, è ovvio che non hanno imparato nulla dei viaggi che hanno fatto. innanzi tutto c'e una gran differenza tra essere turista e vivere in un posto, c'è sempre qualcosa da cambiare quando abiti un luogo perchè devi affrontare ad esempio la burocrazia, le regole le abitudini, etc. poi il paese perfetto NON ESISTE, perchè siamo tutti diversi e ad ognuno piace qualcosa che forse non piace agli altri...
Questo episodio era molto interessante e oneste. Non direi qualcosa di Italia perche abbiamo troppo da fare qui negli Stati Uniti. Ma il mio commento preferito era, "quello non si tocca (il cibo)." 😁

To the Italian woman who thinks Italy has too many social rules, especially regarding cuisine: don't change a thing!!! As an American, I come from a county that has abandoned virtually ALL social rules. People eat and drink what they want, dress however they want and its chaos. People dress like slobs and have no class at all when they eat.
Your social rules are one of the reasons Italy is THE GREATEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD! Don't change a thing!

Sono appena tornato dall'Italia e devo concordare con la questione delle spiaggie. È stato assolutamente bellissimo esserci e godere l'atmosfera, l'acqua, la gente e il cibo, ma 30 euro per due lettini per un giorno... Il mio portafoglio potrebbe essere senza di esso :')

Per me il maggiore problema è la mancanza d'educazione che insieme a servizi pubblici pessimi produrre un risultato nefasto. Roma, città bellissima e cosi sporca e piena di spazzatura che è una vergogna.
La gente lascia i suoi rifuti ovunque , nessuno pensa nell'altro.
Un altro problema, crescente, è la disparità tra i prezzi e gli stipendi. Non è facile avere una vita di classe media nelle grandi città di questa bella nazione.

Quando penso di altre aspetti della vita in Italia che vorrei cambiare, come la mancaza di accessibilità per i disabili, è sembra che tanti problemi risolverebbero se i politichi vorrebbero li risolvere sinceramente

If it was possible to implement the Scandinavian system in southern Europe. Rember when purchasing a car i Germany was lot of papper to fill and sign. In Sweden you can buy a car , scan owners and your own license and change the ownership by mobile app within a minute, insurance goes via mobile in some minutes as well. You wanna start a company, you can have everything done within some days, not a week. But we suffer from windy and kinda mostly rainy weather, although some years we had really sunny summers. However, the sea temperature and colour is far behind the mediterranian, its simply not comperative. Social life in north of Europe is "low level" compared to mediterranian countries.... The list can be long to boringness
friend I live in a region of northern Italy there is no sea there is snow and fog in winter; the nights are long and desolate. people are very lonely and not very sociable We work a lot the apps are here too and you can do the paperwork as you said. Italy is not only the Mediterranean; there are many of your compatriots who come here to ski in the winter.

Sono d'accordo al 101% con quanto dice Katie, analisi perfetta dal mio punto di vista! E anche con Mary naturalmente, il rispetto per l'ambiente dovrebbe essere una priorità, soprattutto poi con questa drammatica crisi climatico-ambientale in atto che se non stiamo attenti rischia di avere conseguenze pesanti anche nel breve-medio termine, oltre che per le future generazioni. A proposito, sarà che non sopporto molto il caldo, ma trovo che le estati in molte parti d'Italia stiano diventando quasi invivibili anche solo rispetto a 20-30 anni fa, altro che clima perfetto! Anche se capisco che questa è una questione soggettiva.
Le estati sono sempre state torride e non c'e' nessuna crisi climatico ambientale, infatti la cazzata che ci sia un consenso scientifico univoco sul cambiamento ambientale e' una boiata ed e' stata ampiamente smentita. LOL
Ah a proposito, Annibale si dice che attraverso' le Alpi grazie ad un caldo anomalo che fece sciogliere molto dei ghiacciai..ah questi romani inquinatori...LOOLOL
Il clima segue una sua strada ciclica e precisa da secoli, e l'uomo non può farci niente. al massimo, possiamo limitare i danni dovuti all'inquinamento, non sprecare troppo su determinate cose, e non costruire anche sull'aria, stare attenti a non deforestare tutto.. ma il caldo, il freddo, non puoi controllare il clima. Cominciate a ragionare, invece di andare appresso a becera propaganda
@@alexp8764 certo che ci sono le ciclicità (e ci mancherebbe pure), ma ciò non toglie che ormai è acclarato che i diagrammi dell'incremento dei cosiddetti gas serra e delle temperature globali (non locali!) siano perfettamente sovrapponibili, e questa è una cosa che va al di là dei normali cicli climatici naturali perché va proprio a modificare la composizione chimica dell'atmosfera e il rapporto fra i gas che la compongono, il ciclo dell'acqua e tante altre cose. Seguo la questione climatica da ormai una 40ina d'anni abbondanti e le cose stanno andando esattamente come mi immaginavo, e come me centinaia di scienziati ben più autorevoli di me che conto zero, ancora in tempi non sospetti. Per cui pensala pure come vuoi ma per favore non tirare fuori la propaganda, che quella semmai la fa chi ha interesse (e sono tanti purtroppo) a minimizzare tutto.

If you even make a pessimistic resume from what the questioned answeed, one would immediately consider Italians as the most blissful ones on the planet. Ok! Let‘s say, Milano is not representative for the general perception of living in Italy.
I lived in italy for a year and the beauracracy is insane. It's crazy how many papers, loops and holes u gotta go through to get something done. Also the fact that you have to wait really long to see a doctor unless you pay for a private one. You might have to wait a month or so to see a specialist.
Also I remember I wanted to get a covid test and they said i had to wait two weeks to get it. By then I could be dead or not even have it anymore but in my country u can get it in few days
Also in italy it is insanely hard to find work. In America u can easily find dead end or min wage job while these jobs suck you can stil easily FIND a job but in italy you might not even find that. Also alot of jobs suck i had one job where they literally had me working 7 days a week for holidays and it wasn't up for disscusion. It was awful.
Also when you get old in italy no one will hire you but in America u can find jobs even when ur old
Covid was a farce to get fools vaccinated, with poisonous stuff. in a few years, we will see how many people have gotten sick and will have dangerous diseases due to the mock vaccine and the pandemic. In America you live well only if you have a job that earns you a lot of money, you have to pay health insurance for every little thing. not to mention how they treat foreigners, fake democrats. As for bureaucracy, that's true, but it's the fault of politics. It's been like this for years. you can find work if you feel like it at any age.
In Italia la sanità e gratuita ed il dottore lo trovi quando vuoi; in America si rischia di morire perchè prima di soccorrerti guardano che tipo di assicurazione hai. IL lavoro te lo scegli tu nessuno ti obbliga ; gente che sfrutta ce n'è in tutto il mondo i contratti si fano prima e se ritieni che sia una sfruttamento puoi tranquillamente recedere Anche i Italia abbiamo la tecnologia ( ma forse tu non lo sai...) per cui adesso i tempi burocratici sono molto piu veloci. Per quanto riguarda il Covid ( per chi ha creduto a questa assurda isteria collettiva) i tamponi te li facevano in qualsiasi farmacia a 5 € e l'esito te lo davano nel giro di 5 minuti; non raccontare bugie.

Oh, there are no construction sites and we even have a functional restaurant car and enough staff, but the motor tractor broke down. Oh, there is no rain and no snow, there are no construction sites, we have a functioning restaurant car and enough staff and the motor tractor purrs like a cat... but unfortunately, our train drivers just went on strike for the 10th time in the last five years. But do not worry, they will be back on track right after the holiday season!

Spiagge libere per cosa? Che la gente faccia festa, rifiuti e si ubriachi come qui in Brasile? Per me le spiagge italiane sono un esempio di organizzazione! Nemmeno l'orologio funziona gratis!
ci sono zone dove è tutto privatizzato e se non hai 50€ al giorno per entrare il mare lo vedi in cartolina, va bene avere spiagge a gestione privata ma almeno la metà dovrebbero essere rese pubbliche e tenute pulite
Le spiaggie libere ci devono essere, ma quelle private dovrebbero essere affidate a delle aziende che ci investo o, e non ai soliti 4 mafiosi che spesso occupano anche le parti liberee non investono niente per curarle
Ma le tasse comunali che paghiamo dovrebbero servire a mantenere gli spazi e servizi pubblici gratuiti (non solo spiagge, ma anche giardini pubblici, aree gioco per bambini, fontanelle per bere, parcheggi gratuiti, bagni pubblici...).

Però en generale l’ efficienza del Paese; digitalizzazione generale del tutto processo, efficienza della banca, meno tasse, meno modello per compilare, meno maschilismo, meno ferie per bambine nella scuola , meglio salario , affitto senza burocrazia (come en Portogallo o UK), città più Smart e urbanista, solo il centro storico è bello, fuori sono tutto brutto, senza vitta….

the trash thing would drive me bl**dy insane! i drives me mad watching people lazily leave litter and rubbish on the ground, here in my city (in the States). I would end up picking up the rubbish myself and spend most of my day throwing things in the bin! LOL
The undisciplined bureaucracy would be my number one pet project worth fixing. Then educate people in general to respect their country by keeping it clean; it is after all, their home. Break that rule and you pay a fine. As an Italian born Aussie, I would also make sure that public toilets were more available outside of bars and hotels. Here in Australia there’s never a problem in that regard.
We still have messy individuals who litter, but they know the rules as well as anyone. Having said all that, I still think Italy is one of the best countries in the world; just an improvement in its infrastructure.
