Phi Phi definitely had a different vibe then Phuket. Much younger crowd. Much higher % of people under 30. Spent 4 nights there earlier this year. As a 41 year old dude I actually felt old there! Not much sex industry workers or girly bars. Phi Phi actually had more of a Cancun vibe. A place for college aged kids to vacation and party!
What I want to know is are there boats from the this Island you are talking about to the other smaller Phi Phi Lee island? Its also called Phi Phi Lay Island.

I saw that on all day trips the boat provides the snrokel gear. Is there any beach in Phuket/Krabi (where i plan to stay) where i can snorkel without taking a boat?
