Here's the thing, this is on Voight just a bit more than it is Jay, I understand personal business, I really do, but if Voight had just said, "I'm giving her some time to put things in order, I'll get her for it later or she'll turn herself in later", than everything would've been fine, but no, this happens, and then what? Voight and Halstead get into it and there's all this stuff that happens.
Good and moral? Voight first showed up in Chicago Fire - his son got arrested for DUI after a car crash, and Voight tried to pressure one of the firefighters to recant his testimony about it. When the firefighter refused, Voight tried to frame him for drug dealing. After it all came out Voight was arrested and imprisoned, only to be let out, his conviction expunged and reinstated as the head of Intelligence. It's revealed at the start of the PD series that Internal Affairs let him out to act as a dagger that can actively kill major criminals, which IA will cover up for him. Voight is not a good cop. "Sociopath with a badge" is probably a better descriptor.
"if you dont trust me" voight constantly gives them hundreds of reasons not to
Voight and his team are great love the show long may it continue ❤

Why is it like the big boys like lieutenant and bosses have very deep voices
😅😅😅
It must be hard to write a show about a squad of good and moral cops when they seem so few and far between in real life.
From what l've seen this particular squad of cops aren't universally good and moral
This is literally a clip of their commander being corrupt treating a police officer different to civilians
