I know the video doesn’t use a spring compressor but my ride a extremely bouncy because of the springs. I understand they’re coil overs... it’s bad. I was thinking to Compress my springs to install because I can’t raise them any more and be able to put them in place in the control arm without doing so. Any thoughts or answers? Appreciate it!
About to buy a 04 mustang gt Problem is, it sits way too low. I've driven it and ANY pothole or uneven surface is a nightmare. Also pretty darn bouncy. Question is, can I lift it a couple inches and is it bouncing so much because the shocks are bad? Example of how low it is...I put a shoe in the street and couldn't clear it😟
Do NOT buy these. After 2 years the front driver coil went out. Just save up $300 more and buy some BC Racing coils if you want a coil over set up. If not, go with something from Maximum Motorsports
I ended up buying these and there on the car the adjustments are kind of confusing I have maybe 4cm of space in between the fender and tire in the back and monster truck status in the front any tips I read somewhere the fronts ride height are adjusted by loosening the bottom collar and threading the coil over by the bottom is this true I was using the middle collar to adjust in the front and nothing seems even on the car
$750 set, custom made to fit this one car, and you're having to shim the strut to the spindle? Um wut? Doesn't really speak to the quality of the kit if they can't get the width on that right from the factory like every other company.
I have that exactly 40th same color car find diff... Don't have coil over 9n my list tho adjustsble everything u can options are key to bad ass look preformance & attitude . 👍😯🤯
Is this SR coil overs ever coming back in stock it’s been like 6 months maybe more of it being out of stock... 75% of the parts is always out of stock it’s like AM stocks 10 parts of each item smh.
Thanks after putting brand new Mickey Thompson’s on my car and picking up these I love how they have absolutely ruined my tires would have been nice to have some instructions on adjustability for set you guys sent out the shocks were defective 2nd kit is just poor quality I’ve realized these coil overs just suck emailed hoping for a response +45 hrs ago about the rears being lowered more than 3” on the springs heights setting and nothing cars a daily driver and I unfortunately had to drive it a couple of times only to realize my tires are torn up from the fending smacking the tire on every and I mean ever bump so thanks… 10/10 would not recommend buying I’ve been having issues with these for a month almost
1. These SR coilovers aren't anything special. I hope you got an alignment after install and properly measured height when adjusting them.. 2. For most larger wheel setups you're gonna have to roll your fenders.
@@CraftedDiamond10 oh an alignment would help my defective shocks ? How about the 2nd kit and the defective springs would it have helped that ? Next time read my full comment there’s a Reddit thread dedicated to sr performance parts 9/10 people swear it’s trash which it is

Bounce factory kit!!! The front end just bounces and are pretty dangerous when going into a corner and a bump comes lol, on firm setting it hops like cut springs NO JOKE!! I would suggest save up your beans and buy a better kit like feal or kw
I just got these installed in my 2000 Gt mustang, however the rear is extremely bouncy and feels worse then my old worn out shocks, is there a way to fix it…?

The Rear on mine sat sooo low even at its highest setting. Rear end was sitting on my aftermarket bump stop

You probably have cut springs. Most coilovers will bring it close to stock but most performance cars wouldn't clear it anyways
