Two talented gentlemen working together. Hope it goes well, guys! As much as I naturally preferred UK releases, ie Chases, Races and Runaways, there was just something unique and interesting about American releases. The covers were always nice to look at, even if they weren't completely accurate, and yeah, the episode organisation could be confusing for first time viewers, it at least gives the VHS tape or DVD a nice bit of variety.
Awesome review. As I live in the UK, I don't have this VHS, but I love the episodes on it, though I prefer the UK version of "Thomas and Percy's Christmas Adventure". ...And I also love the song.

Specifically, the version with the trains and their names interlude with the theme playing. I knew it was Percy’s ghost trick but I can barely remember any of the other episodes. Though those interludes are what locked it down for me.
They changed Thomas and Percy's Christmas Adventure into a Thanksgiving episode because it was part of "Billy's Party", Shining Time Station's Thanksgiving episode...which didn't air anywhere near Thanksgiving, making it all even more pointless.

I had the 1994 VHS growing up that I watched it during my toddler days. Thomas’ Anthem: I loved the song and each scene I tried to remember what episode it was from. When I saw the deleted scenes I was confused. Wooly Bear: When it comes to the stories of Season 2 this one feels like it’s stuck in the middle with me. Not a bad episode but an entertaining one as all the Thomas stories entertained me as a toddler. Thomas and Percy’s Mountain Adventure: I knew something was off when I saw this episode from the snow storm to the Christmas decorations in the end. Despite the flaws for the US whatever version you prefer to watch works for you. Escape: One of the best episodes to look forward to on the VHS and something I remember reenacting with my ERTL models in front of my Uncle. Oliver Owns Up: The stories with Oliver were ones I looked forward to seeing when this VHS got popped into the VCR. I loved every shot from beginning to end and there were some rolling stock here I wished ERTL released. All At Sea: The perfect episode to conclude the VHS. Everything from Duck and Percy working at the harbor to Duck’s journey to get the man to Bertie and the last shot of Thomas, Percy and Duck looking out into the horizon make this episode perfect that in a way I can almost see it as me having just spent the day with a couple of friends.
That VHS echo was weird I’m from 2004 so i of course don’t know what in the hell happened to this stuff but seeing it all online it makes me wonder how it slipped by

So now whenever I want to watch trucks or Percy’s promise or any other episode that has missing music in US dub no matter which version I watch what is that a restored version of DVD version Amazon ripped from a VHS it will always have missing music.

UK home releases are honestly better. I'm not just saying because of nostalgia, I saying that they are better they have more creative covers and the US DVDs weren't in Widescreen for the longest time.

I do agree uk dvds look better but covers i am just not seeing it the us covers from 1999 to 2007. are some of the best covers in the us.
