I found an USB plug that is the same size as a lighter plug. I unhooked the power wires and popped the lighter out. I swapped that out on my 08. I use it for android auto as the Alpine unit I have does not do wireless android auto. I chose a bit more expensive unit because I wanted to keep Sirius and a lot of the cheaper ones don't work with the sirius module. The USB in the lighter location looks just like the factory one that my buddy had in his 2013. Works great. I use the other lighter for a charge for passengers or when the truck is off. A feature missing on a lot of new vehicles (charging while the vehicle is off).
Been wanting an alternative to having a double din for my 2000 Silverado Stepside and low and behold you gave me a idea. I wished Revision Raceworks would have supplied more specification on the supplied radio. I am guessing that with the GPS module included means the head unit is navigation capable? The price is reasonable for under $300.
It could also be for speed by gps, I got a head unit similar to this one, and there's an app to install on your smartphone, im on android, and everything runs through the android auto on the headunit, navigation, music, apps etc as opposed to the Bluetooth on the stereo itself
Saw another UA-cam creator posted a similar install and he replied that the head unit has navigation which uses the included GPS antenna. Of course if you have carplay or android auto on your cell phone, you can use the navigation there. Now I can sell the dash bezel that I bought that has the modified double din opening and use the one on my 2000 Silverado.
What do you think of the sound quality disregarding the price I have nice speakers in my truck and a aftermarket radio and the only thing stopping me is the possibility of sacrificing sound quality
Hey Travis, what do you use when undercoating or painting older frames. I've got a really clean 2005 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab that just need a fresh undercoating but I'm not sure if I should use just spray paint or rubberized coating or something else. I live in West Tennessee so weather is not a factor compared to up north. Any suggestions?? Thanks
What’s your favorite most user friendly double din for an 04 Silverado? Looking to step Into my first one and add a tailgate backup camera if you have any suggestions on that also thanks.
@@TWAMotorsportsI just found the exact radio on Amazon, for $110, I think I’m gonna order that and then have a buddy 3d print a face plate for the dash
Finally, a 1.5 din radio for these trucks. Looks like a wide screen TV, I’ll be the back up camera will be nice..
I sure like it
Technology is amazing.. looks factory in there.. 💯..
Definitely works well
That will be going into both my fbody cars.. thanks
Same thing I was thinking
I got it for my trans am. Didn't want to go the double din route. This is perfect
Worth it I think

Seems to be a good one
@TheOne-yc1wt possibly
I'm pretty sure they sell a similar kit for the 4th gen Fbody crowd as well. The TA in the background is begging for one!
They do but I already have a double din in mine
Metra kit + double din is best option. Would prefer din.5 for factory look…..but no quality name brand audio companies make a good one.
Understand that

Its not bad

I generally use por15
Wish they had one for a nnbs
You can do a double din in those

I like the pioneer head units normally
They sell a kit where you can have a double din kit that looks factory without using the 03-06 parts
I agree but not the greatest fitment
Do they have a knob option?
No but I wish they did
How long did shipping take?
Forever
@ so I’ll wait till January to order it 🥲 that’s what I love to hear, looks good though thanks for responding man
Good luck. Pick other options than usps

👍
I have their dash to hold my holley display
Seems like good products
I’m pretty sure it’s Reversion Raceworks not Revision
Maybe
So real question can you actually watch video like podcasts?
Yea
Why noy fix the problems with Christine before you worry about Audio upgrades?
What problems?
