I feel the same way! I’ve been doing UA-cam seriously since 2019 and I’m always comparing myself to other people who started the same time or just started and their channel sky rocketed. But I gotta remind myself this is my own journey and I just need to stay consistent.

First of all, if you do get a full-time job again, I hope you keep making videos. I'm always so excited when you post new ones! Secondly, I got laid off in September so I fully understand the job search roller-coaster right now. But it seems like you're doing an awesome job of balancing productivity and self-care. It's SO hard not to feel guilty during the times you want to take a break from applying for jobs, but girl, it's so necessary! Keep doing what you're doing, and great things will happen. 😊
Thank you for the kind words! And I definitely intend to continue to post videos even if I do find a job! It’s so true that everything in life tends to ebb and flow, and it hard when you’re in the “ebb” stage of life. Thank you for the encouragement!

And that you can’t just keep sitting and waiting around for them to pop off 😭 it must be so hard. I still so see you being a fitness instructor of some sort even if it’s part time, someone I know does OTF and personal training full time and I feel like the schedule is more similar to being self employed than rigid like other jobs. Just brainstorming with ya but either way we love the content no matter what💖

A lesson I keep learning is that my high level of effort doesn’t always pay off right away. I have to remember I’m a farmer working all the seasons…which means I may not get the emotional paycheck or positive feedback. Do what you love and invite viewers to join in.
UA-cam is very frustrating. I've had my channel for 2 years and I'm sitting at 653. But...I know why and I just keep trying. The highs and lows can definitely start affecting your mental health. I personally love your videos the more I watch. At first I only watched your UA-cam related videos, but now I'm watching all of them. I know it's frustrating and sometimes you just want to quit. But if you just look at your growth from the last few months, I mean, it's pretty amazing! I totally get it, though, about pouring everything into a video only for it to flop. It can get pretty discouraging. Sending prayers your way! I love your hoodie! :)

You can still do your content on top of taking on as much as you can handle. I know Vlogmas is coming up and is big for UA-camrs so I’m sure there’s other creators who could use the help with editing and video upload prep with descriptions, links and thumbnails! Just something to think about!

It was helpful, and so I thought, let me check out her channel and see what kind of videos she makes. I saw that you posted vlogs about health and fitness and that appealed to me as I am on a weight loss journey. I learned a lot from you. The traveling vlogs fit in with that because I could see how you enjoy life and still maintain a healthy lifestyle. The more I watched, it felt like I knew you, and so I was interested in hearing about your UA-cam journey and just overall life stuff. So when you switched up your content several weeks ago to different stuff, and several times I came to check out the latest video and find it wasn’t the content I had been following you for, I grew disinterested and unsubscribed. Apparently UA-cam thinks I still like your channel because this one came up in my feed. 😂❤ I’m going to resubscribe today. I just want to leave you with the though that whatever got someone to subscribe-the flavor of your channel overall-is what they want to see. That being said, it’s totally your choice what you want to post, and there’s nothing wrong with experimenting and figuring things out! I don’t blame you at all. Just wanted to shed some light on why some of the recent videos possibly haven’t done as well. I’m only one person, but that’s my two cents! I also know from following many different UA-cam channels on a wide variety of topics, that you can absolutely post whatever your heart desires and people will follow you for it and you can make money off of it!
