Beautiful guitar, but damn, fake F-holes are a huge pet peeve. And HOLY CRAP- an actual Stone Roses bit at the end!! Wonderful. John Squire seems to be so underappreciated and he used a Gretsch on a lot of their best work.
Stunning- I’m in love! Always loved the Country Gentleman, such unique guitars. And in black! 😍 They mentioned the lack of tone knob and showed the back pad/ plate but these guitars also have split string dampeners, to mute either the top three, bottom three or all six strings. But my favourite feature of these guitars has to be the painted on f-holes- LoL! Like, wtf? I’m a sucker for a black guitar, even if they are a bitch to keep clean (I don’t normally fuss over my finishes but, like black cars, black guitars only look good if they’re not covered in fingerprints, dust, sweat stains, etc). And - word to the wise - never take a black guitar to an outdoor gig, especially if your set is during the day (versus night) and that day happens to be a sunny one; once the sun hits that black guitar, bye-bye tuning. Learned this the hard way. 😬🙄
My dream guitar, no kidding. I've seen three before- I think they are super rare but people that have been hanging onto them for years are letting them out into the wild.
