Congrats on the massive success!!! I live in Queensland Australia and our Summers are super humid! The only way I get through markets is by doing these things: a rechargable fan pointed at my face, ice cold water in an insulated bottle and a facecloth to wipe my face a neck with cold water but the biggest thing that works for me....I bring about 6 mini freezer bricks and keep in an insulated bag and I strategically place one in my bra between my ladies!! You would not believe how well it cools you down and unless you are wearing a low cut top, you can't tell its there! When it stops feeling cold anymore, I turn away from people and replace it 😂 Just make sure to save one for packing up!

I can't wait to hear how you go at the farmers market! I attend a farmers market fortnightly and it has been fairly consistant. Some days are slow in sales and then others have been similar to my event days!

I agree with what everyone is saying about the unicorn pricing. I'd go over $100 for materials, time, and effort. I've made a smaller one and the curls ( I think I made 20).... if it wasn't for me being spaced out while watching a movie, those would have ended me. Also Square.... yes! Two things I'd change, allow the pictures on a phone. I did the same thing. All that work and they didn't show up. Also another level of subcategories. I like to list mine by color so that I can keep track of which ones go, but I have so many colors on some items that I also want to separate it by color family. I can do that, but it makes my listing really long and for people taking over while I've stepped away, way too unnecessarily complicated. I'm glad you had such a successful market! I also want to say that out of all the market videos I've seen, I am so happy to see that some of your items are different than what's the most popular trend. :)

@@MadebyMandaMal Wish I could better grasp a better way of doing SKUs. I think those would work with individually priced items. Right now I have SKUs with only an initial so that I know which lovies were made by my daughter so that I can give her the money for the ones she made. :)

I know algorithms are evaluated by watches and various details... I have been thinking about this 🤔 you should do a full video and then make a copy and edit the copy by removing the parts 'that bore SOME people' then post both and label- "WITH" & "WITHOUT" ...price/item breakdowns.. then people can choose which one they want to watch without affecting your rhythms by not watching all they way through! And you may also get more views since you have 2 videos 🤔🤫🤗🥰

Congrats on the market! I have found that penguins aren't very popular. It's really sad because they're so cute!! Also, don't be afraid to price your items higher! I sold a giant fluffy unicorn (not the same pattern but similar size) for $100. Sometimes pricing higher helps sales (I know it seems backward but it tells people the item is high-quality). 🥰🥰

A fan os great not just for yourself but for costumers, if it's really hot and you're the only vendor with a fan, they'll definitely stay at your tent more time, tho I guess that could be bad too, if you have a small tent

love your video . only things id say i love when you are smiling more and laughing. but some of this vid you are a bit serious at times. for the lilac bunny uprigt id go ahead and make a white fluffy pom pom for the tail. would make it more lifelike and sellable i think. ive been to a few fairs over the last so many yrs and everytime ive seen adults and children pick up rabbits of any design the children always put them back if the bunny has no tail. so i feel u will more than likely have more chance to sell it if it has a tail added. x

I made an elephant and felt like I was over charging for her because of time and materials she was probably worth more than the $300.00 I priced her at!! She pulled in SOOO MANY CUSTOMERS and I wish he didn't sell now... she sold at my 3rd market!!! I made more sale from her drawing people into my both!
I would definitely price her a lot more than $75!!! She will make you money way before she actually sells!!!

Yes! I factor that into my pricing. I talk about it in a pricing video I did a lil while back. I just didn’t do it for my giant unicorn😅
New sub today. On square for yourself. Can you put the pictures and then by this description can you put an item number like 001? And on the tag put a 001 and will the 001 show up ? Also This way whoever is there besides you checking it out can check out the 001? I don't know if that makes sense.
