Facts across the board. Dude exaggerates everything just like every other wannabe car blogger. The funniest part about the DCT delay that he bitches about is it happens in cars like the Corvette C8 and the Lamborghini Huracan in exactly the same way. The Huracan is almost difficult to drive in city traffic because of it. This is just how DCTs work. It's also sufficiently fast. I traded a stage 2'd WRX and lost basically nothing in performance. If I'm saying that, coming from a manual transmission'd small AWD car sitting at over 500hp, the average SC buyer can take it to the bank.
The delay is a factor of the DCT. They operate like a manual. Takes a second for the clutch to engage. My C8 corvette has a similar feel. There have been programming improvements that allow for quicker response.
We had a Tucson with the DCT and it was garbage. Lots of issues and the delay with the turbo lag was unacceptable. Plus they actually did a recall on it and stopped putting it in the Tucson it was so bad. Garbage design. In a truck like vehicle like the Santa Cruz they Should have went with a normal 8 speed. I think the Ford Ranger is a better option for the money.
Just got my 2023 Santa Cruz sel AWD (California sand)two weeks ago. I love the practicality of it and not getting the terrible gas mileage my full size Ram 1500 got. I love your lift kit and am thinking about upgrading in the not too distant future. Ironically my wife drives a 21 bronco sport and it definitely has better off road capabilities then my SC. But for kids events and grocery getting this is well worth the change. And hauling a push mower and weed eater to the camp site. Also can’t beat the included maintenance plan and warranty with Hyundai. Love your videos please keep them coming !
Also there's no air vents or USB ports in the back seat because you have an SEL I think, my dad has a limited and there two USB ports and two vents in the backseat
The throttle response problem probably has something to do with the turbo, like turbo lag. Also the cab is very airtight so that's why the doors have to be pushed pretty hard to be closed

I don't agree on the delay, I have 2023 Limited Edition Santa Cruz and in Sport mode, its so responsive. I have done this times and times over at stops. My 2023 Limited has 2 USB charging and AC vent in the rear. May be do a review with a Limited 2023 SC
I have the 2023 Night Edition Black on Black nicknamed the Dark Knight EL Camino! Coming from a Nissan Titan this truck is exactly how I expected it to be. Quick and comfortable for driving in the concrete Jungle!
Volume knobs are better, but the SC has a physical switch on the steering wheel so its no big deal. I have a 22 golf r that even has touch buttons on the steering wheels which is crazy
I think the whole volume knob is nitpicking only time I use mine is to turn the radio off and on most of the time I’m using the steering wheel controls
I don’t need volume knob there is volume up and down on the steering wheel. I own one for 6 months now and when I’m driving I don’t have to look down to see. If i want increase fan or ac or anything, my hand just know where to go without looking down
Had my 2022 Santa cruz 2 years and love it ....super fun to drive and quick ..u can pick apart any car with complaints as most folks do over time..don't forget Ford leads on recalls..as GM Honda and Toyota ..all as well ..I give the Santa cruz 10 stars
My 2023 Limited does not have a delay in throttle response. You may want to check the drive mode. It sounds like you're in Snow mode. All of my doors shut easily. The rear passenger area on my Limited has AC vents and two USB ports in the back of the center console. As for USB-C, you can always add a small adapter. When you're talking about roof bars, I'm assuming that you mean the crossbars that connect to the roof rails. Well, if you're going to be carrying things on your roof, you aren't going to be open the sunroof. You do realize that there is also a volume control on the steering wheel, right? All you need to do is hold up or down. You don't have to keep pressing the button. The one on the display is for the passenger to use. Also, you can just hold your finger there until you get the level you want. You don't have to keep hitting the button. It is not an off-road vehicle. It is an AWD vehicle. It will handle much better in snow and rain than a 4WD. So, I haven't seen your video regarding what you love about the Santa Cruz, but I just don't think you understand the vehicle.
I have a 2023 Sel, with the natural Asperated engine NO delays at all on acceleration this is why I didn't want a turbo or the DCT trans, they do not have it perfected. I have the smaller screen with a volume knob and tuner nob. I really love mine ,trouble free and not as much bells but a whole lot less annoying features. Oh and traditional 8 speed automatic. Cheers.
All but the last one seem fairly minimal. I have no issues with ANY of the first 9 things. As for offroading, I didn't buy it for that anyway so even the last issue isn't an issue.
Dude there is something wrong with you. One you can change the volume on your steering wheel. Put your sunglasses in your arm rest it’s deep enough. That one second delay will put it into race mode . I agree about no vents or usb plugs in the back
I have had none of the problems you have had. I Love the transmission. I can PADDLE shift or Stick Shift. With the K&N filter and rear Muffler off. 0 to 60 in 5.5 seconds. Hp went from 281 to 297 hp and 325 torque. Faster than my 68 Boss 351 Torrino GT. I am amazed. Very much fun.
The door in mine closes easily. It's possibly just a fit issue that wasnt caught in the factory by quality. I don't mind using the steering wheel to turn the volume up or down. I don't use the touch button.
This guy has obviously spent very little time in "His brand new 2023 SC". The lack of a sunglasses compartment is an issue that I brought up to the salesman but hardly a deal breaker. Seems like the narrator has a heavy bias towards Ford. I have had a 2022 for almost 2 years. I still love it and get compliments/questions about it on the regular.
Wow! I don’t have any of those issues with my 2022 premium. Smooth instant acceleration, doors close normally, i use radio volume control on the steering column. I haven’t done any off road so can’t comment.
I feel like the door thing is a non issue . My ten year old Xterra is like that because it has chunkier molding on the bottom of the doors to keep it water tight. I’ve always had to muscle the door shut . It’s kinda knitpicking .
This was annoying me for the first month and a half, now my door and the rear passenger door are closing properly (Daddy daycare drop off!). I also find if the fan is on high and recirculation is enabled, the pressure makes it harder to close as well.
The thing has plenty of zing in smart mode. I don't understand a negative response to the 2.5 turbo. It gets 20 plus miles per gallon. I got 10 to 12 miles per gallon out of my truck.
I have a 2023 sel activity package and I love everything except the power. It fits the mold for everything I want in a car except power. Which if I bought the model up with the turbo I'm sure that would fix the issue lol. But I do know what you mean about the doors you gotta close them hard lol
My 2022 Santa Cruz Sel activity package had the same issue with the doors. This is why. The new seals on the door aren’t softened up yet. It took me about 2200 miles to break in many things. As for the power, I don’t have the turbo engine and my engine is quick at the red light but not a lot of power later. Good luck with your new truck. Give it time…🛻
I have a 2024 Limited, the doors close perfectly, no lag at takeoffs, the DCT shifts perfectly, no shutter, aftermarket roof racks are un noticeable, or anyother of the flaws like that. And I can adjust all of the alarms and notifications in the setup menu. I didn't buy it to beat it up off road so that's not an issue.
Some observations from someone with the sister vehicle of the Santa Cruz, I own the 2023 Tucson Hybrid SEL, which has the same infotainment screen and features. 1) I prefer volume knobs over buttons... having said that... there is a volume rocker on the steering wheel, and pressing it doubles as a mute. 2) Chimes. Most if not all of them can be turned off. 3) DCT... you seem to know it's history... more on this at the end 4) Storage and interior configuration... more on this at the end 5) Problems with off-road, and "Lifted"... you put bigger rims/tires than factory... you know this is going to completely dork the AWD which computes for factory rims/tires, right? Conclusion... most of the problems and issues you have with this vehicle you could have easily spotted by.... I dunno... watching a video review, reading a sales pamphlet, actually looking at it at the dealership... test driving it. There is NOTHING in this video you complained about that you couldn't have noticed BEFORE you bought the car with just a tiny weenie amount of effort and research on your part... aside from the AWD performance after completely changing out the rims and tires. Did you research this car AT ALL? Or did you just see a 30 second commercial on TV for it and mailed a check to your local dealership sight unseen? If I'm spending $40,000 dollars or something, I'm damn sure going to do my research BEFORE I plump down the cash... it literally seems like you did ZERO research... none, nada, zip... you're complaining about tons of things you should have known BEFORE you bought it. I literally did months of research before I chose my 2023 Tucson Hybrid... I knew more about the Tucson than the sales staff did. Yeah, I'm not crazy about the lack of a volume knob, but I knew about it before I bought it and I also knew about the volume rocker on the steering wheel which I always use. I LOVE my Tucson Hybrid... wouldn't trade it for the world... but do your research BEFORE you buy a car... watching your video it seems you mailed in a check and had no clue what you were buying.
I have a 2022 Santa Cruz. Didn’t like the few recalls, although they ended up effecting me. But, still like the truck. Sounds like you bought the wrong vehicle. Btw, I moved the front crossbar back about 10 inches. Helps with the noise.
Man this truck is not meant for extreme off road activity. First off it's not equipped with off road tires. The truck is not heavy enough to stay planted on the ground. It's more of a sticky situation type of thing that will offer you better performance in comparison to a regular car. Man the lack of brain activity is so crucial to understanding what you're buying.
1. My daughter the optician says you should never used the sunglass holder because the temperature changes will cause the lenses to spider. 2. I like a volume knob, but it is not a big thing for me because I use the volume control on the steering wheel.
Although I love the car (truck), I have a longer list that you. I also just dropped off at dealer with 5800 miles and 2 Engine Codes, 1 Transmission code and something failing on the blind spot monitor. My doors aren’t great. Worse the back was open, didn’t give a warning light until I drove around the first corner and my kid was in the back… What about not having parking sensors?!? I have the Limited so 360 camera but still would be helpful to have the sensors. Almost hit something obscured in the camera. Completely agree on the DCT. I almost got the base to get away from that but wanted the 281hp… Good luck!
I looked with anticipation for the return of small pickups, but the Santa Cruz and the new Maverick have such small beds that they don't provide the main benefit of a pickup. My VW Sportwagen could carry more cargo than either of them. Years ago I had a Chevy S10 pickup work truck with only the small cab for 2 but a regular bed. If someone sold that configuration today I would buy one.
ya should have bought the Tucson awd hybrid instead better mileage too, stick a hitch on it and you can have all that storage as well as a full panoramic sunroof sel convenience pkg
I suspect you are aware you just have to hold the volume up/down rather than tapping it? And of course you can just use the steering wheel option. Sunglass holders are being phased out. Just put them in your center armrest- which they make inserts for. Works fine. I have the Tucson.
I've had my Santa Cruz for approximately 9 months and have had nothing but issues. There are too many to name at this point. This new car has sat more than I've used it. Is there a refund issue with this car? I'm almost afraid to put this car on the highway.
ADJUST THE DOOR HOLY CRAP NO SUNGLASS STORAGE ? NO REAR ARM REST, TOO MANY CHIMES, WIND NOISE. I WOULD BUY A FORD with turbo engine they are blowing up.Or the new RAM 6 month wait,or chevy 6 month wait. I take delvery of my SANTS CRUZE SE 25,700.00 truck next month THANKS FOR THE WARNING.
Thanks for the review. You have unsold me on one of these untill Hyundai figures out what they're doing. Seems they can't decide what they're trying to build. And yes, stereo should have a knob ! One you know where it is there's no need to look at a touch screen.
According to people in the SC forums, the DCT drivetrain improves gas mileage w/the turbo. I will agree about the lag. It's almost like a 1 speed manual haha. I get anywhere from 25-35 mpg depending on how I drive it.
Dude, I think you may have got a lemon. I've never had any door or throttle issues. Also make sure your cross bars aren't on backwards. Mine were and the sound was ungodly. I didn't think it would bother me, but you're absolutely right about the DCT, it worries me cuz I don't know if something's wrong with my vehicle or not. Lol
You don't need rear vents , the air blows Really Hard!!!! Our little grandson in his car seat in the back seat stays nice and cool on days that are 100 plus degrees. The SEL Premium has a roller volume know as well as the toggle volume on the wheel . The air is pretty loud though on high 😁 But it's Ice Cold!!!
Agree with all the points. You did not mention ugly AF instrument cluster, which is actually just a cheap 10-inch tablet perched atop of the dash. Ugh.
no delay with my throttle. ease a little slower into it and go eat some mustangs. i do agree no sunglass storage is a must. i musst say even a dude with a full size 4x4 might not approach that rutt the same way you did.
It does not pay to flatten the gas pedal on a DCT. Just ease in for best results. If you are too heavy footed for that, put it in first gear with manual mode...instant response. DCT is best in rural and semi rural areas. I have a Tucson DCT here in Toowoomba Australia. Most of my driving is highway and country roads on the edge of a small city with little traffic. In a big city like Sydney a DCT would be not so good.
Totally agree about the DCT. Will avoid any future vehicle with one. I currently have an 2018 Tucson and it has the dry DCT, but it just makes the vehicle feel cheap, and not safe to drive in certain situations. Love the Santa Cruz, but won’t buy till they wise up on the dct choice.

WISH YOU WELL IN YOUR ADVENTURES WITH YOUR SANTA CRUZ, I'M ENJOYING MINE.......
I just bought the Tucson Hybrid blue, I love it, don't get me wrong, but yea, the volume knob and climate control shouldn't be something you have to search for or press multiple times. I miss the one quick turn motion. I've already figured out that the volume and seek buttons for media on the steering wheel will be something I absolutely will be breaking fairly quickly. and that they are in the wrong position. Seek should definitely be on the outer left for the sheer fact that you'll be switching through your playlist or scrolling through a podcast 1000 times more than you will be playing around with the volume. I will have my nose in the user manual for a while because of all the safety features, but I love the gas milage, its a joy to drive and for the amount of horse power I get I don't losing the extra few miles I might have gotten with another Hybrid, like a Rav 4 or even a Ford. I have no regrets with this SUV!
i'm sorry but item 2 looks like its a weather stripping issue, item 10? It not an off road truck i wouldnt expect it to be any better than a tucson. Thats not its intended use. it seems most things are minor. I get your complaints about the stereo, thats why i got an SEL, also didnt want sunroof or turbo. Originally was going to get a maverick lariat 2.0 litre but with dealers trying to add $10k to price the simply arent worth it. thanks for your impressions, i wonder if the cvt was hurting the offroad performance
Parts of it are difficult to clear of snow- side mirror placement, inability to fully lift the wipers off the windshield to clean and that strange lip on the sides of the windshield that keep snow from getting pushed off. Designed in California. Also, the lack of a powered rear window. Those are my only real gripes 5k miles in.
I agree with a few of those things, especially the lack of a sunglasses holder and other interior storage. They're all small items, except the delayed throttle response. I think that could be fixed with a software update, though.
I have a new 2023 Santa Cruz limited with pretty much every option and I gotta tell ya this is the first car I ever had that I hate as much as I love ?
Strange, my 2023 sel has volume button and tuning button as well, my doors close perfectly, and and no throttle delay, I did not purchase the premium, so no turbo issues
Really like the wheel and tire setup on this one. I own a 2023 SEL Non Turbo regular SEL. I do not have the delay on acceleration as I don’t have the DCT. There is no design flaw with the doors on these vehicles. The interior does lack extra storage areas and overall space. I keep my sunglasses in the center console. In the rear under the seats, I have removed the cargo tray as it takes away from your under seat storage. I’ve got my jack stored in the “cooler” of the bed. I never ride in the back of mine, but Hyundai definitely could have put a rear arm rest back there. Lack of rear plug ins and vents is disappointing. Picking on chimes is seriously just nitpicking though. My volume in the SEL is a rolling type button, but I never use that anyway, I use the button on the steering wheel… I imagine you could do the same. To me it’s worth having less HP with the non turbo, so I can have a solid transmission. 12k trouble free miles. DCT does not perform off road very well, but my traditional 8-speed auto handles moderate off road driving nicely - I have a video on my channel showing how I tested mine. I’m considering lifting mine slightly and getting all terrains to do more off roading without having to sweat about my ground clearance and tires giving me trouble.
we just bought a 2023 Santa Cruz.. ive only been in it twice. ive been ill, with back pain issues.. and the first thing i noticed, is that it's really hard to get into this vehicle. the bar to hold onto, does not exist. there IS however a fold out handle type thing waaaay far back, and like above my head when entering the car, which is completely useless for ANYTHING! it is totally in the wrong place! nothing to hold onto when hubby goes too fast around corners :/ also, the arm rest on the door is far too low, plus the seat is not comfortable but we can buy some cushions i guess. yeah 40k is alot for a car that is not comfortable, orrr easy to get in! ohhh and there is no actual gas tank display, as in full/empty.. it just tells you how many miles you can go with your gas, id prefer the regular way!
Press and hold for volume…. Why would anyone hit one notch at a time lol. Press, hold, let go. Plus it’s on the wheel. Why would you reach over with it’s a thumb touch away?
I own a new one. 2023. same engine. The response is instant. Something is wrong with yours, dude. The doors close more solidly than on an high end lexus or benz. Again, you got a lemon. No one wants a pocket on the side of the console, junk to poke your leg? Laughing. You are kidding about the sun glasses right? Try you head. The Limited has rear USB and rear AC. Its a truck. No one gets a center armrest in a truck. There is wireless charging, and USB port in front, not in the console where they don't belong. It even has a 12v port and the ability to play songs from your phone and feed Alexa to the panel via the USB port. The cab is quiet as any luxury car, again, you got a lemon if you hear the outside. Oh roof bars, laughing. Why not put a wind siren on your roof? There is a toggle on the steering wheel for volume control, again, where it belongs.
I believe there's a location for the cross bars that don't make such a loud whoosh. I use KNOBS on the steering wheel. The Cruz is a hard pass for you.

If it’s so air tight then why is it so noisy. Crap is what crap sells.
@@Paysoncougarfan.7885"crap is what crap sells"
Hyundai has really stepped up their game in the past 15 years and anybody like you who are still hates them are stuck 1995
@@Paysoncougarfan.7885 also is not supposed to be Hyundai's most luxurious car, it's supposed to be an adventure vehicle, so if you want a more luxurious Hyundai, then you'll want something like the Hyundai Palisade (calligraphy) or Hyundai's luxury branch which is genesis
@@jacksonrodabaugh9984 duel clutch trans with acceleration delay, a turbo waiting to die, doors that do not close, a really small bed. I think I will go look at a Ridgline or a Maverick thank you.
@@Paysoncougarfan.7885 I think look at a Maverick or Ridgeline if you're wanting the more work Worthy truck and go with a Santa Cruz if you want something small and compact for Adventures off-trail or an easy City truck, and by the way if you still hate Hyundai then you're stuck in 1995😑😏😒😫😕😔😞😢
I don't agree on the delay, I have 2023 Limited Edition Santa Cruz and in Sport mode, its so responsive. I have done this times and times over at stops. My 2023 Limited has 2 USB charging and AC vent in the rear. May be do a review with a Limited 2023 SC
Mine also none of the problems this guy had. Maybe you should have not lifted it
I have the 2023 Night Edition Black on Black nicknamed the Dark Knight EL Camino! Coming from a Nissan Titan this truck is exactly how I expected it to be. Quick and comfortable for driving in the concrete Jungle!
And also you can turn off some of the chimes, like the goodbye when you turn off the car, in the settings
I have a 22 premium with 16k I had a recall but after that this little truck is amazing !
Cheers.
same here bro. Do not regret going for the SEL activity for one minute
Cheaper too!
I suggest you read the user manual..... I have a 23 Santa Cruz SEL Premium. No issues and is very pleasant to drive on any road conditions.
My doors close fine. No throttle delay. No wind noise. I don't mind the "no knob" feature. If I were you, I'd just get rid of it.
I have the same model and dont have any of the problems you are having, radio can be turnded up or down or muted via button on stering whee
I am going to cancel my order on my 2024 Santa Cruz. Your videos where a lot of help.
Thank you for this video it helps me a lot
LOVE MY SEL Sport mode makes it more responsive but I always drive in normal mode
3) DCT... you seem to know it's history... more on this at the end
4) Storage and interior configuration... more on this at the end
5) Problems with off-road, and "Lifted"... you put bigger rims/tires than factory... you know this is going to completely dork the AWD which computes for factory rims/tires, right?
Another thing that drives me crazy with my Limited is that, with all of those electronics, the rear sliding window is manual.
Looks like the base model, it's probably beeping cuz the check engine light is on lol
My grandmother bought one last week. She also has plans to lift it in the near future. Maybe 37”s 😂
I have the sel with 8 speed automatic and I am happy with it.
1. My daughter the optician says you should never used the sunglass holder because the temperature changes will cause the lenses to spider. 2. I like a volume knob, but it is not a big thing for me because I use the volume control on the steering wheel.
Sunglasses clip for visors.. all these problems are things could see PRIOR to buying
Although I love the car (truck), I have a longer list that you. I also just dropped off at dealer with 5800 miles and 2 Engine Codes, 1 Transmission code and something failing on the blind spot monitor.
My doors aren’t great. Worse the back was open, didn’t give a warning light until I drove around the first corner and my kid was in the back…
What about not having parking sensors?!? I have the Limited so 360 camera but still would be helpful to have the sensors. Almost hit something obscured in the camera.
Completely agree on the DCT. I almost got the base to get away from that but wanted the 281hp…
Good luck!
The only lag I have when taking off from a stop is when I have the auto hold on other wise I leave every one at take off
I've had my Santa Cruz for approximately 9 months and have had nothing but issues. There are too many to name at this point. This new car has sat more than I've used it. Is there a refund issue with this car? I'm almost afraid to put this car on the highway.
welp.. you just talked me out of it. Thx. Spot on observations that really make a difference.
READ MY COMENT ABOUT WHAT OTHER S ARE AVAILABLE
Don't listen to this guy, his observations are braindead. The SC's great and has about 1% of the issues he claims it does.
Can't the radio volume be changed via a steering wheel control?
Take it out of eco mode and use normal mode, still @1/2 second lag. Sport mode should give you max launch.
Santa cruz is not a truck It's a cross over with a bed in the back
My issue is the rotors warping. Already had in 2xs, 1st at 5k miles, then 8k. Starting again...
ADJUST THE DOOR HOLY CRAP NO SUNGLASS STORAGE ? NO REAR ARM REST, TOO MANY CHIMES, WIND NOISE. I WOULD BUY A FORD with turbo
engine they are blowing up.Or the new RAM 6 month wait,or chevy 6 month wait. I take delvery of my SANTS CRUZE SE 25,700.00 truck next month
THANKS FOR THE WARNING.
Thanks for the review. You have unsold me on one of these untill Hyundai figures out what they're doing. Seems they can't decide what they're trying to build. And yes, stereo should have a knob ! One you know where it is there's no need to look at a touch screen.
it's on the steering wheel, only a problem for passengers.
Why do you need a type C charger when you have a wireless charger?
warning chimes being annoying is a good thing my dude.
4:51 only on the steering wheel. Still want my knob. Glad I have my BS ;-). With a great lift!
Nothing about the check engine light?
I agree with the one second weight but I have no issues with my doors
Agree with all the points. You did not mention ugly AF instrument cluster, which is actually just a cheap 10-inch tablet perched atop of the dash. Ugh.
no delay with my throttle. ease a little slower into it and go eat some mustangs. i do agree no sunglass storage is a must. i musst say even a dude with a full size 4x4 might not approach that rutt the same way you did.
I have a 2022. How about no garage door opener function? It has so many other tech features but left that out.
My 2024 model has the built in door opener
It does not pay to flatten the gas pedal on a DCT. Just ease in for best results. If you are too heavy footed for that, put it in first gear with manual mode...instant response. DCT is best in rural and semi rural areas. I have a Tucson DCT here in Toowoomba Australia. Most of my driving is highway and country roads on the edge of a small city with little traffic. In a big city like Sydney a DCT would be not so good.
I love my Santa Cruz 2 years no problem.
I REALLY DON'T GET IT?? WHY DID YOU BUY THE TRUCK?? I MEAN COME ON MAN YOU DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING NICE ABOUT THIS VEHICLE AT ALL!! AGAIN WHY DID YOU BUY THIS CAR/TRUCK!? ACTUALLY I LOVE A LOT OF THINGS ABOUT MY NIGHT VERSION SANTA CRUZ!!!! IT'S BY NO MEANS THE PERFECT VEHICLE BUT IT FITS MY NEEDS PERFECTLY!!!!
WISH YOU WELL IN YOUR ADVENTURES WITH YOUR SANTA CRUZ, I'M ENJOYING MINE.......
I like knows better, they last longer than any button. Use the steering wheel controls for your volume.
You nailed the thing about the damn doors not shutting. I thought it was just me!!!
All we can do is hope that Subaru debuts an all new lifted, off road turbo Baja to save us all.
😎💜
I got mine to sel trim but I don’t have any problem
i'm sorry but item 2 looks like its a weather stripping issue, item 10?
Those are my only real gripes 5k miles in.
you are soooooo right about the wipers. WTF!
@@floridadashcam I believe there is a way to turn the wipers on/off so they stop above the lip of the hood, for changing the blades.
I agree with a few of those things, especially the lack of a sunglasses holder and other interior storage. They're all small items, except the delayed throttle response. I think that could be fixed with a software update, though.
My 2023 Limited has no delayed throttle response. He was either in Snow mode or has something defective.
I’ve read the non-dct is better for off road, so I got that one.
Where did you get the lift kit and tires and rims?
I have a new 2023 Santa Cruz limited with pretty much every option and I gotta tell ya this is the first car I ever had that I hate as much as I love ?
So why didn't you buy a Bronco Sport?? Planet Fitness is $10/mo or $20/mo for the "baller" package...it will help with the door closing situation.
Strange, my 2023 sel has volume button and tuning button as well, my doors close perfectly, and and no throttle delay, I did not purchase the premium, so no turbo issues
i wouldnt be surprised next gen will have those missing items.
The reason there is no arm rest is the center portion is a seat.
we just bought a 2023 Santa Cruz.. ive only been in it twice. ive been ill, with back pain issues.. and the first thing i noticed, is that it's really hard to get into this vehicle. the bar to hold onto, does not exist. there IS however a fold out handle type thing waaaay far back, and like above my head when entering the car, which is completely useless for ANYTHING! it is totally in the wrong place! nothing to hold onto when hubby goes too fast around corners :/ also, the arm rest on the door is far too low, plus the seat is not comfortable but we can buy some cushions i guess. yeah 40k is alot for a car that is not comfortable, orrr easy to get in! ohhh and there is no actual gas tank display, as in full/empty.. it just tells you how many miles you can go with your gas, id prefer the regular way!
Gas gauge is the bottom arc of the speedometer. Hard to see because same color
Press and hold for volume…. Why would anyone hit one notch at a time lol. Press, hold, let go. Plus it’s on the wheel. Why would you reach over with it’s a thumb touch away?
Use the steering wheel mounted button for the stereo issue. So petty.
All mine had to get alignment from the start
Put the K&N filter in and you will never have turbo lag again. I bought a 3 buck Sun Glass holder
Put it on the turbo (red) odometer mode.
I believe there's a location for the cross bars that don't make such a loud whoosh. I use KNOBS on the steering wheel. The Cruz is a hard pass for you.
I have a roller wheel for the volume in mine, 2023 Midnight Edition, besides, the control is in the steering wheel. AND you are nitpicking safety? REALLY? BTW no delay in my throttle either.
CEL?
No sun glasses storage the most standard thing to have … wild .. 😂 the maverick is just much much better at everything side by side . Tremor has no issues doing the off roading you were doing . The sales proof that at 7 to 3
