Thanks for sharing. I bought a Hyundai Santa Cruz in August of 2022 . I did get a recall notification letter for the trailer hitch recall but not for the turbo, body panel nor the transmission. I contacted Hyundai customer service, the 1-855 number and they advised that the recalls were specific to a car’s VIN implying that certain recalls did not apply to all Hyundai vehicles. Don’t know whether this is true or not.

It's sad when a manufacturer and dealerships won't honor their warranties, and deny recalls. Buying a new AND used car is a gamble - if you get a lemon, you have to go through hell to hopefully get any help. And if you do, there's no guarantee the service departments know how to fix the problems.

When your transmission goes out, and it will... the vehicle will quickly drop to 20 mph, its called 'limp mode' you get no warning, no warning lights. try not to get killed if you're on the highway. These vehicles are a menace and should not be on the road.

I don't know if you are uniformed or just angry and acting out, but this recall is hardly hidden! All affected owners received a notice of this recall and searching by VIN, will instantly identify any affected vehicles. Did you throw away mail or buy this used, not sure but you are WAY off-base here, nothing hidden, no subterfuge or malice on the manufacturers part. Yes, it sucks (I own a 2022 SC), but it was not hidden or otherwise supressed...

CLEARLY you are not informed about the 'process' of 'RECALL' certain cars are 'selected' and some are not selected for 'recalls' MY CAR was just outside the selected VIN range. My car had all the same issues, so I didnt not get a recall notice. BUT.. when I asked the dealership the LIED and said there were never any RECALLS on the car I owned... MY ISSUE with HYUNDAI is THEY ARE LIARS.. and should be avoided at all cost... Seems you're another Hyundai employee trolling me.... I get a lot of grief from Hyundai about this.

@@cmscms123456 You never included that YOUR VIN was excluded from the recall. And yes, I am fully aware how it works, but thanks. If the recall didn't affect your VIN, then you weren't notified (and wouldn't be), and if the dealer said that exact sentence, and not "YOUR vehicle has no recalls", then maybe actually looked up your specific VIN or are just incompetent, but EITHER WAY, they aren't Hyundai Corporate...
